Thanks for the other suggestion, too. It looks like a wonderful book I'll check it out!

whoops managed to not update in a long time again.... I think I should give up on ever being a constant updater on here

I'm off to CSSSA early friday morning, lots of excitement but I'm plenty nervous!

anyways going to dump a whole bunch of stuff!! sorry my posts always end up really clumped together...

trying to learn some new things, my art isn't as diverse as I'd like it
focused on dark skin, angry faces, large, and males
first tried to draw from imagination (failed) did some studies, then from imagination again

Hey!glad to see youre back and posting. Amazing update. that last piece of a master painting is incredible! I wonder if Sean Connery would look like that if he grows his beard, hahaha.

The Alla Prima is a great book. I also recently got it and Ive been reading it when im not doing any sketching.
