PLease help with concept art questions????????????

Hello , I want to know if concept artists paint in adobe rgb or sRgb or do they work in a profile created by a calibrator? I did my work in srgb but something happened and now there is a profile mismatch it is no longer srgb,it isn't adobe rgb either, i only worked in sRgb and only saved in that workspace. When I use the spyder2 does it calibrate the monitor automatically so I can just use srgb space in photoshop or does the spyder2 only create a profile that has to be used in photoshop?Thank you in advance for your help.

this is for my own project. So I'm just trying to figure out what color space the pros do it in and how the calibration works, as I am a comic artist switching over.Thank you.

I'd work in adobe rgb. It's a larger color space than srgb.

There ya go...and the pros work in every color space and value range from graphite to oils, PS to Painter. If it is for your own project it shouldn't matter at all but I would follow Noah's advice on that.

srgb is the native space of most computer monitors. So, if you're creating work on a computer (rather than dealing with images that have been captured with either a camera or a high end scanner), that larger color space isn't doing you much good.

Well my monitor is calibrated for adobe rgb.

Thank you for all your guys help , much appreciated. I was just wondering how would you use the calibrator to calibrate it for adobe rgb does that change the viewing colors of viewing pictures in the desktop as well.When I calibrate my monitor with the spyder2 it tells me that its not using any profile so I have to find the new icc profile made by the spyder2 and select it in the desktop display profile tab. That icc profile shows up in the listing in photoshop as well , do I have to select the new profile in photoshop or is it automatically calibrated so I can select adobe rgb and the changes are already done to adobe rgb space.
