I'm new to this forum and I decided to post some of my stuff. Most of the life drawings are from my last quarter class (I go to AICA: SD - the Art Institute, I'm an 18 yr old sophomore there). I hope you like them and any feedback would help! Thanks.

generic_living, welcome to the forum. i really dig that last design with the branch coming out of the dude's mouth.
Just keep studying anatomy and drawing the figure from life.

thanks! yeah all the top pix are from my final for my last quarter life drawing class and the last pic as an old idea that i recently re-did and i just loved the way it turned out.

i really, really, REALLY, need to keep up with this thing. after all, that's the whole point of a DAILY sketch book, isn't it? so here's the new stuff.

this is a 1-shot comic page i did for a comic workshop at school. it will be published under "AI FocalPoints" and be distributed at comic-con at the AI booth.

this is aurora, the main character from another story i've been working on for character design class.

these top two are sketches for my final in character design. the character is the sea king from journey to the west and it's done in the kim possible style.

robin williams. this was also done for the final - he's the choice for the voice actor for the character above.

i have to say, my fave stuff of yours so far was the quick figures in the first post and the face you did on may 16th. that's some really good stuff.

the character ideas look interesting - i'd love to see more about what you're doing with them and where they're headed, etc.

oh, the brunette with the vine coming out of her mouth on the first post is also very very cool.

hey you live just down the road from me. i am in la mesa just an exit east of state. watts is starting up next week if you wanna come check it out. oh and i am always sketching around sd if you like to sketch from life.

more importantly i like your style, you have a very kool read to many of your drawings that make them all seem lively which can be hard with a stylized approach.

hey guys. i did this earlier. COLOR WAS DONE IN LOREAL MAKE-UP. i kinda like that medium. lol. if you want to know what colors i used just hit me up. her face is liquid foundation, her lips are outlined in lipliner and i used lipstick with a color lipgloss topcoat. she has three eyeshadows on her lids and i used a blue eyeshadow on her eyes. her eyes are outlined in black eyeliner. her brows were drawn in with the same eyeliner stick. have fun. before and after photoshop shots. the after looks a lot better.

sorry for the lack of updates - my nephew was born on the 14th and i've been having issues with school. anyways, here are the few sketches i've been able to do. the first two are stuff for a story i'm writing for my nephew, aidan.

this is the back of my orientation packet for grossmont college. i'm going to start taking classes there (yeah, i dropped the Art Institute like a bad habbit). so here's what i did. as you can see, orientation was kinda boring. but then, this is the sixth freshman orientation i've attended. hoorah for me. =P
