Sentinel! You got hit with the nerf-hammer today and decided to get back into CHOW because MVC3 will be a lot harder as from now on? :p (don't bother if you don't understand what I'm talking about.. )

I scrapped the bg for now to focus on the character without worrying too much on the perspective. If I have time later I'll add the rest.
Except for the problem with his right shoulder and wrist, I want to make his simbol on the chest and those vials glow of holiness (maybe the gem on the sword too?).
I hope the "waffle iron" will resemble more of a shield once i start putting colors there.
Any further suggestion to improve this will be well received.

I don't think I got enough of the paladin into him and then I threw that shield in there... which doesn't make visual sense so I'll have to remove it and think of something else.

I haven't done anything for CHoW in FOREVER. So I thought I might throw something down this time around. I'll fix the dimensions if they're screwy.

Costume is still in the works, but I figure that even though he is a Paladin, it is Post-Apocalyptic, so we won't be having any fancy knight armor. Probably closer to what common people of the Dark Ages wore, but with a 21st century spin.

Beautiful picture. The rendering and the expression are excellent. The one thing is that I'm not getting much of a "post-apocalypse" or "paladin" vibe from it at all. There is a slight indication of wrecked buildings in the background and the monsters in front could kind of be demonic, but she just looks like an average girl. Not sure how closely you wanted to stick to established tropes but my two cents is that I'd never guess the subject of the CHOW from your piece.

The light ray coming down is gorgeous, I was thinking of adding something like that myself if I can make it looks nice. Your composition is beautiful. keep up the great work man!

I like the action idea but the pose doesn't read well at all, especially because the guy's legs seem absurdly small compared to his massive shoulders and arms. Try to perform that move yourself with lots of rage and see how your legs naturally go. That's how to do it.

Use that paint over. Your feet still look awkwardly turned. Also the thing behind his head looks not unlike a flyswatter. On the plus side that shotgun is BEAUTIFUL and looks like it is ready to kick unholy ass. The horizon line placement is much improved. Keep it up!

The rendering is gorgeous but the leg placement looks weird. Its like they're vestigial limbs just floating beneath him. The rest of awesome but the legs need work.

Way to come in out of nowhere and be completely awesome. I am not getting much of a "paladin" vibe from it but you definitely have the futuristic aspect down. Truly beautiful rendering. I am excited to see how the composition turns out.

Man, some awesome stuff going on here. I missed last week's and I'm a coupla days late getting in on this one, but don't count me out yet!

Mine definitely could use some more... apocalypse. Hoping to make the background a very obviously ruined/abandoned church (which it really isn't yet). Much of her armor is based on a combination of army and sports gear...
