    Bunny girl! Probably one of many to follow (I suddenly feel like drawing them.)
    Why do you always have your best drawing moments when you SHOULD be studying? TT^TT

    Arm studies! 38 in total. I wanted to do 100, but I got sloppy, so I decided to change subjects and go on later. Posting these already. Next subject is either males or portraits.
    Sorry for the giant file!

    Great work! I like the studies. Setting a goal like do 100 of something is a great motivator. You don't have to do all 100 in one day tough that would probably burn you out. Try doing like 10 - 20 a day or so.
    Keep up the great work!

    Hi Liesa,

    I really like the girl with the mohawk in your first post, and it seems that the proportions in these last sketches are improving too. Did you come up with these costumes from your own imagination? Keep at it!

    I really like your character studies, the outfits you are coming up with are really cool.
    Also your life studies are great! You can see improvement from the first page already.

    Got some talent. Try bringing out more darks and lights in your digital paintings. Try and get a light source in mind and work from there. Im doing the same thing, painting with to many mid tones. Its so frustrating.

    Wow, thanks for all the replies, guys!

    @alexon: Thanks! Yeah, I noticed that it tired me out immensely. I did about ten the first day and almost thirty the next day I worked on it, and that was definitely tiring, haha!

    @Snyder: Thank you

    @Kmoeini: Thanks! I'm working on my anatomy a lot so I'm glad I'm improving! And yes, I come up with them from imagination.

    @Jesus Masochist! I WILL GIVE YOU MOAR. But the ones in this post aren't as epic though, exams are eating me! Just wait until you see what I have planned for this vacation!

    @Cbee: Thank you so much! I'm glad I'm imprving ;__;

    @endlessunderscores: Aww, thanks, you flatter me. XD

    @Shua-Bot: Thanks! And yes, I have A LOT of trouble with understanding lighting. I'm trying to do some studies on it every now and then >.<

    Okay! Now for updates. I don't have as much time as before - deadlines are crunching in - so it's a small update.

    First one is a bunny girl again, first in grayscale, then in the first steps of attempted colouring. I'm thinking of just doing it completely in black and white before trying anything else. I feel like I should work more on light and shadow and understanding colours before I really get into colouring.
    Last one is a WIP of a small study I'm working on from a vintage photo. It's meant to be an exercise on light and shadow and soft brushes, since I'm terrible at soft brushes. I don't trust them XD

    Anyway, hope you like the update and concrit is always welcome!

    Cool colors on bunny girl! I love the costume. Maybe you could make the round thing on her elbow more reflective. Also, I think we should be able to see a little of her right eye.

    @Kmoeini: Thanks! I'm still a bit uncertain about the colours though. I seem to desaturate too much. And the right eye is actually covered by an eyepatch, but I didn't make that clear enough yet >.< Maybe I'll remove it and just place her eye there. Thanks for the comments!

    As for updates, I only have one set of drawings. I feel dead due to an all-nighter I did yesterday and I really wanted to draw, but I'm just too tired. Six drawings, all from ref.

    you've got lovely linework- are you doing it digitally from start to finish or scanning in pencils and performing a finish on top?

    Either way, good stuff, though I think you could try using lines to show the form and volume more. I'm no master at it myself but it is something that seems necessary to understand- at least in initial concept sketching.

    You have a nice SB I really like the pencil characters like #18 and 3-6 in #30 and the very first portrait - Also the studies looks solid.

    Will be fun to follow your path forward so keep on posting

    Wow, these are great! You have very confident lines. Only crit I can think of is the shading of the eyelid and cheek in #2 should probably be closer in value.

    @Little-Maiden: As said in the conversation, I draw directly into Photoshop. I'll try doing some studies with more paint-like things to study volumes.

    @Dan liimatta: Thank you so much!

    @Kmoeini: Thanks! I'll try to mind my values more next time.

    Okay, another arm studies update. I'm at 65 now! Did a whole lot of drawings while talking with Daniel on Skype. I started off with portrait drawings, but I didn't really like the outcome and switched to arms. I also included a small pencil sketch I did on the way home. I don't like it as much as I did a couple of hours ago though. Concrit always appreciated!

    *Edit for Daniel: Added some older sketches for my conjoined twins for a school assignment.

    Nice studies and update - the first piece seems to have isseus with the neck, face and maybe chest/shoulder size wise.

    That said I do like the armour/clothing design

    Wow, beautiful linework on the arms! The torso looks a little long on the girl, but that's a cool costume! I listened to the soundtrack for Assassin's Creed 2 today and it's a great song.

    @dan liimatta: Thank you! Yes, those are my biggest problem areas while drawing. I'm going to review her in a digital drawing and I'll try to fix that then ^^ Thanks for the concrit!

    @Kmoeini: Thank you~ Yes, the soundtrack is AWESOME. Definitely listen to all of it! The one from the first game and Brotherhood is also very nice.

    That said - here are some of my drawings for my twins! These are primarily studies. Last one is a funny of one of my characters drawn as pitstop girl

    @Kmoeini: Thanks!

    Well, as an excuse for the absence here, I have a drawing of a new quick-made character of mine... She was a plot device. Sorry, love. Speedpaint of about one hour and a half.

    I'll post a bunch of design thingies I did for school once it's not 1 a.m. anymore. Gotta go to sleep!

    Confidence isn't saying, 'I've reached the best I can be--I can go no further.' It's saying 'I know what I'm doing, but I can always get better.'

    @Vella: Thank you! I liked that a lot too Was fun to draw!
    @Kmoeini: Thank you! I still have to stop by your sketchbook again some time >.<
    @ian_ruff: Thank you so much!

    Small update! I'm sorry for the lack of studies and all, but the exams are tiring me out and I feel like a mental wreck. My drawing examination went so-so and the behaviour of the teacher really got to me. It was so humiliating that he put us, the worst class for that course (only four of us are actually interested in this) together with the second best one. He just doesn't like us and his derogatory speech afterwards showed that even more. I felt like crap and I felt so humiliated that I cried for ten minutes. I just felt like a bad artist being compared to them. I'm sorry that I'm spreading my personal life here, but I needed to vent a bit. Thank you for reading if you got through this XD

    tl;dr: not a lot of work, exams almost over, expect more soon!

    Here's a quick character portrait I did of Layla. Layla means night in Arabian.
