New Thread not approved?

Hello,

I recently attempted to post a new thread in the small freelance jobs sub-forum and was informed that the post was pending moderator approval. Since then, I've noticed new threads by users with only one post in the sub-forum, but my thread has not appeared. This has led me to believe that perhaps my thread was rejected, but I haven't received any message to that effect.

Is there someone I should contact, or should I just wait? Is there any way to check my thread's status?

I apologize if the answer to this question is in a FAQ or a sticky somewhere. I tried searching, but I couldn't find an answer.
