Hi,
(((edit: As suggested by jeffx99 I really should have advised you to use the attachment manager instead of hosting them at external links.)))
Welcome to the forums! You might want to consider starting a sketchbook thread if you haven't already!
Here's a link to the sketchbooks folder: http://conceptart.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=41
It's more of a "everything book" than a sketchbook really

Use "manage attachments" under "go advanced" to attach your images.

Er, try not to use that much black, especially for shading.
Amateur Artist. Professional Asshole.

Rule #1 of depicting soldiers: KEEP THE DAMN FINGER OFF THE DAMN TRIGGER.
Best thing to do now is ditch Photoshop and practice structural drawing with a pencil. Intuitive drawing at this level is promising, but if you manage to back it up with solid knowledge of the basics, it will open a whole new world of possibilities to you.

lookin' good, i love it.
thanks guys, arenhaus you're right , although I had plenty of drawing courses when i was doing my art degree , I still feel like I lack some basics especially in the architectural department...
Content of courses tends to depend on the college... not all of them focus on structural drawing, to put it mildly.![]()

true. in fact in my drawing courses our teacher were telling us to stay as far away from illustration as we could... doing illustration = bad... kind of generated a frustration with me , hence i started developing two totally opposite practices! one that fitted what my university wanted me to be and one that was the total opposite( illustration)...
just to give you an idea, those two picture is my «latest work of art»
here you have it my personal minute of self pity hahaha!
