    Thumbs down WTC Sketchbook

    NSFW just in case.
I use to think if someone would just smack me in the head and scream 'IMPROVE' I would end up doing a lot better, in fact I still do. However it didn't cross my mind until now that there are no rules against ME being that person. That being said, SIT YOUR LAZY ASS DOWN AND IMPROVE.

    starting with anatomy.

    Superb anatomy sketches man.

I like your most recent paintings as well, I'd like to see the motorcycle piece really polished up some more, it's looking great.

    Note to self

    Study of form
    2.5h
half blocking, dark first, separate light layer, no true white
    ref, subject-random very cool guy
Focus on face morphology, workflow. Hair poorly processed, bad detail prioritizing.

Great SB. Definitely already good all around skill in many area's.
The one thing I noticed which is my only crit is you may have what I and many others often have which is....

    The foot phobia lol.

Seems like feet are missing from a lot of figures and in #13 (which is my favorite, really like the hair and wings), the only thing I can spot as an issue is the foot. That's my only suggestion. The dreaded foot studies lol.

But keep em coming. Definitely looks

Haha yeah i do slightly have that. Its hard to bring feet into perspective and have it not look awkward within a few strokes. Still trying to focus on composition more for now. Will probably try to do feet after i can comfortably sketch in color and shade intuitively.

Nice work you've got going here. Maybe try doing some quick studies from life/photos to help getting the light and tone down. It's always a good grounding to inform work you do off the top of your head.

    Keep it up!

    A bit of basic anatomy.

The still life thing is a good idea I think I should head back to that and really hit the lightings again.
