just from looking at your sketch and then those illustrations, i know for a fact that your skills are not to the point of reproducing such kind of work. I'm not saying you're not good, just you cannot achieve such result. Then references starts to pop out from users to users because you know what, we live in small world. Enough said, i usualy don't even bother writing to people like you but i felt like i had to this time.

( i find it sad that people still don't understand that imagination is better than anything you'll ever get as a reference. )

i'd like to take this moment to say i'm disappointed in the support on this forum. i'm hurt deeply. i was considering hanging myself from a doorknob with a tie, but then i thought better of it and decided to give all of you a purple mushroom tattoo on your forehead. consider this the beginning to my retort. as i have free time i will work on this picture for you, my loving audience who'd like to see nothing but me fail. so hurtful. /sob. (i promised myself i wouldn't cry -- again...) well anyway, you will see me working from beginning to end, and hopefully by the end i'll run out of tears and you'll find it in your hearts to take back all those mean things you said about my ability. and none of you REALLY have to eat shit and die when this is done, but it'd make me happy if you did. here's me pouring out my heart and giving you the finger. oh yeah, i'm not looking for the peanut gallery shooting quips at my work before it's done, so please try to refrain... i'm not looking for critiques, i'm just out here proving myself to the hating mobs; moderators, feel free to remove this thread from this topic and add to the WIP topic. upon completion i'll make another post in here so everyone can say I used magic from a virgin elf to create my work.

Even if this guy wasn't copy/pasting some photos together and throwing in some filters, his attitude alone makes him a dickhead. I don't know why he bothers to keep posting. All the arogance and sarcasm in the world won't help.

It's not a matter of proving you drew them from scratch, its a matter of not acting like a total wanker and expecting positive feedback.

all joking aside i only acted like an ass cuz i took strong offense to someone having the tenacity to question my ability, nevermind a group of people. in all honesty i need no one's pat on the back, though it's nice time to time, the main goal of my original post was just to bring you guys up to speed as to what i was working on. is that a crime? due to the sarcastic nature i took this thread, pvrhye, i thought you weren't genuinely trying to help me, but rather trying to bring me down. so me jumping down your throat was un called for, and i apologize. i can definitely play the part of an asshole when in want to, but i'm not in my true nature... so all the arrogance and crap was just a prop to make my retorts funnier/annoying.

i'm just about done being serious, and now that you know the truth that still doesn't change the fact I have a point to prove. i don't like people trying to degrade my ability, for that the flames of hell will engulf small baby rabbits across the world... and they have you guys to thank for it! i think a cleansing is in order.

btw, due to the WFH and NDA i signed with the company i'm working for I may be taking down 3 of the images from my original post, yet but so long as you don't tell i won't either.

i just got 7 new characters to develop so i won't even be able to work on my piece for a little while. seeing how retarded some of you still are being i won't even bother rubbing it in. i'll post the finished product up here one day and that'll be the end of it.

it's a shame how some people act when they're serious. i'm no longer in a joking mood. ciao fellas. happy drawing. if i see any of your work i'll be sure to jump on and give you a pat on the back for encouragment, and try to give you honest advice on how to better your piece if i deem it appropiate instead of trying to shoot you down. that's on a professional level and other than that piss off. i'm sure some of you feel the same way toward me so we're even.

if you browse around here a bit and read what a normal response is, you will find people here arent as vindictive as you are trying to make them seem.

problem is, you wont get a normal response with a manipulated photo and ignorantly trailing for flames with your egotistical sarcastic bullshit. you aren't worth people's time if you are going to lie to them.

i post to help people, not rub their gigantic nuts. and that is all you wanted in my opinion. you dont want to actually get any better (cut and paste painting?!). i think you just want respect.

you didnt even post your image in the right forum. all of these are a work in progress right?

sad, indeed. but in order to inject some positive outlook on all this mess, i'll tell you 1 thing ceballos:
i hope you learn from this. lying/cheating etc is not really worth it. you probably have some talent and if i were you, i'd work on perfecting it. only then - since you seem to have a penchant for it- you'll be able to afford to piss on whatever anybody else think of you as a person or as an artist. short cuts will lead you nowhere. be on your own and do your best. that's the only advice i can offer.

And there's the payoff. Not only did he come in and try to pass off photos as his own work, but he insulted us. And now the "proof" will never come. Is it because he lied? Is it becuase he is too busy? Is it because his dog ate it? We'll never know.

Just something for all of you artists out there who don't know this already. IF YOU USE PHOTOS THEN SAY SO IN THE FIRST POST. Otherwise you get shit like this. If you are caught without any disclaimer people will think you are trying to pass off the photo as your own work and then you get lambasted. Period.
