Nallen - yeah it seems so. i'm not finding photoshop too easy at the moment but i'll keep experimenting when i have spare time to!

NickyBeats - Thanks for the comment and morale boost!

Yor - it was only a small update hah but thanks, i think that portrait turned out a lot better than the paintings i am trying so hard on now

Spats - Cheeeeeerrrrrsss man, i do love the pencils.

Clodioz - a chuck norris approval?! my life is already complete! heh thanks

Benjie - wahah cool another christchurchian here, i would be keen for a sketchmeet sometime but i'm just about to have less spare time because school is starting back up soon for me. if you ever plan on having one (with Y J or anyone aswell) send me a pm and i'll see how my timetable is

here is just some crap i've done since last update. the digital stuff is sooo painful to look at but i'll keep trying it. plus its just odd stuff and studies.
    thanks

Great arm and cat studies! I don't mind the cam quality. Until now there's enough sharpness to get the eyecandy stuff into my brain.

Ulver - Thanks, i feel i should have worked on that one a bit more. damn, too lazy.

surus - yeah i've just recently been using an old old scanner so its a bit crisper but i dont have much control over how the scan turns out. thanks for commenting!

Ostroponis - hahah, thanks but you would get so bored looking at this all day!!

just some things from today, really quick stuff. not too fond of it just figures mostly. everything is no ref except for the portrait on the first page.

Philosiflo - yeah! sketchbooks are the best! you can just scribble in them, not have to take anything to serious and its like your own personal world to mould and have fun with. everyone should have one!

NickyBeats - hahah yes karate cat is a very serious kitty karate cat master, thanks! glad to see you back in here!

here is just a bit of what i've done since last time, some more stuff i'm not putting up here is just school work and really scribbly scribbles.

photoshop stuff, playing with colour. no ref.

Love how you push full value into them...softness and darks. Very nice!

Jephyr X - Thanks! and as for the pencil question i use just plain old pencil's you use at school... like no name brands, HB, 2b and 4b. mostly HBs and 2bs. i've been using a mechanical pencil lately though and it has a whole different feel.

surus - Thankyou, you've been visiting this thread heaps already haha cheers! i should probably keep more on to updating it.

Aryeh - Cheers! figure stuff is my favourite but i should probably branch out.

Teundeboer - Thanks for the comment!

sevarenge - Thankyou for commenting, i've got a few digitals here to put up haha

CRYPT - ok. you convinced me. here's a few. :p

It's been ages again. i just dont get around to uploading stuff or taking pictures of it really. Anyway here are a few things, i've got a bit more i'll try to post soon. a lot of it isn't currently in my possession so i'll have to find time to go take photos of it.

Philosiflo - haha, it's a digital painting but i only had a print out on hand so it's been re scanned. it looks pretty bad really. i actually did that one with a mouse, didn't have a tablet on hand

A-May - Thank you! that makes me feel pretty good about my stuff haha! there's loads of people i wish i could be as good as but i find it more difficult to create when i compare my work to others. it gets depressing hah, thanks for commenting!

This is something i did today, probably 3 or 4 hours? not sure. Thanks for looking.
