    Kelsey's Sketchbook (4/19)

I moved my original first post down to my second post for easy editing

Welcome to my sketchbook, you'll find anything from figure drawing to perspective and occasionally flash stuff (edit: now studying characters, environments, and props!)- most importantly I hope to see improvement so any critiques are welcome.

It's been about 2 years since I was here last and I started school since then(studying game design), so I figured I'll start a new sketchbook and hopefully keep up with this one. I'm on my second semester and so far the only drawing classes I've taken are the foundation ones: Analysis of Form and Perspective, so a majority of stuff at the beginning will be from those. Enjoy

I am seriously loving your architectural and perspective drawings. Everything else here is fantastic, but the buildings are my favourites

i'm curious to see your inked layout in colors, with the finished line you lose a part of the fun and the dynamic of the picture. (its already a lot better when you put grey levels => http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...7&d=1335500428 )

Your face from the 27th is cool too, make me think of tekkonkinkreet in some ways (Taiyō Matsumoto)

Well cool works, you explore a lot of different stuffs : D

Thanks! I'm honored- Tekkonkinkreet is one of my favorite sources of inspiration actually. And I love your sketchbook too

And yeah, light-plotting and coloring are the big things I'm afraid of right now and really need to work on

    A) HOLY PERSPECTIVE You do the environments and I'll do the rest, let's go (not that you can't do the rest - but I can't do the environments)
    B) I love that you seem to be an Avengers fangirl.

    AMAZEMENT

Haha, thank you man. And yes, saying I'm an Avenger's fangirl is almost an understatement I got the art book recently and it got ruined when my mind got blown all over the page.

    Hi!

this is such an awesome SB, congrats. I love your environments and since you're so good there's something I would like to ask you about. My most recent studies are about perspective, and I think I'm starting to get the hang of it. However, I find it so hard to draw real architecture. I mean, I know everything's made of boxes, but it gets really hard to imagine buildings without references. Do I have to study architectural styles so that I know how to apply all that to my "boxes"?? Yours are amazing
