i just finished inking the 1st page of a new comic i'm working on, i have a self set deadline of 18 days to finish with the inking. Let's hope i can make a daily post

Wow, this sketchbook is becoming more and more like an old trunk in the attic for me.

But i'm back, again.

This time i've got a lot of shit to show you. For those of you that have some interest in my personal life, i've got a job, more news on that with my next post which will be full of ... superheroes?, yes, superheroes.

As i was saying the last time, back with more shit.

Couple of character redesigns I've been doing for the past 2 months or so.
I should mention this in the beginning, this is not my project, I'm just working' on it . The redesigns are of heroes (superheroes) from Romanian folk-tales, felt really strange when i started re-reading this tales that i knew as a child, all of the shit in the tales just exploded in my mind, some bad-ass bad guys, some hot female heroes and so on. In another post ill probably present you guys more of this, but for now ill just post some of the characters i worked on.

Your editorial/comic-y style looks so much more confident and better than the conceptual digital works, like the heroes up there.

Again,
after a long period of absence, i return with material to post.

lots has happened, and my absence makes up for a good story, or a couple,

before I'm gonna talk about other things, i started a page on facebook, appealing to the lazyness of man, it seems to be more comfortable for most people to check their stuff on facebook, so i'm also gonna keep that open with works and information, come by, like and share cuz ti means you care , here is the link deKalibru

last time i was around here there was an old site and i was working as an illustrator for a studio, superheroes and comics, about a moth ago i resigned due to the poor treatment that i was getting from them, now i'm back and freelance, along with all the jokes of unemployment and so on.
In the past weeks i'm been working allot, but most of it i can't post due to confidentiality reasons, in a few months, maybe , till that time comes i leave you with sketches and some old stuff.

hi, nice work. I like ur storytelling, dynamic poses and designs.
Only thing i would crit is ur anatomie skills and that u dont seem to apply ur skills concerning dynamic poses to ur character concepts.

kingkostas - thanks buddy, it's nice hearing from you, how's the army thing going for you, don't forget to sketch while you're there

Lakai - hey thanks, i understand what you are saying, i don't give much interest to anatomy anymore, I'm fallowing a different path, as for the dynamic part, still working on that, I'm being pacient about it, i don't know if it makes any sense.

So far I'm keeping my head in the box all day, working, drawing, sketching, it's a great feeling when you don't know how much you are doing and you are just doing it.
Currently I'm working on tow big comics, one is for a local comics magazine ( you can find it here at Birds of Paradise page ), hopefully first issue is gonna come out by the end of this month. The other one is a graphic novel I'm doing with a friend, his script.
And on top of that more stuff for different things, I just hope I'll find the time to post it all in the next days, but if you read this, keep close.
Here is a small batch of things, the rest I'll have to re-size in the days to come .
