Welcome to my sketchbook! I will be posting each week (sometimes in-between) of all the projects, concepts, sketches and FUN!
First, about myself- I am 22, studying my last year in a BA of Game Design at university, in my spare time i play games, make games, and draw
Art has been something I've wanted and have been perusing all my life, and I take it very serious and each day i am trying to improve myself.

Initially i wanted to start a new sketchbook, make a new alias- but I've decided i want to build on top of who i already am, i'm not totally ashamed of who i was once, and perhaps who i will become still.
But i am going to aim to be a better be, the best me!
So i declare from Feb 17, 2013 that i will be trying my hardest as an artist, a man, and a dreamer to become the best i can be in what ever i set my mind to.
I will forgive myself for any wrong doings in the past, any mistakes- bad habits, flaws- because i wouldn't have the capability i do today, no, the THIRST i have today to win at life!

I hope you enjoy the new me, and my new sketchbook! (And possibly new styles!)
There also will be game design and game Assets(3D modelling etc) in here too!

-PS, i start university back in 2 weeks, and i hope it goes well

verry good drawing you got there Providenc, you are placing your lines on the right place and make them clearly. good digital image too.

i like the clearrence in the sketch book image more then the digital.. ur hand seems more confident in pencil or ink .. i think most ppl will talk about anatomy and how u should be practicing more .. it will help u with ur figure and portrait drawing.. but ur up to a good start mate.. dnt lose faith in urself.. and keep on posting

Some older photoshop works, dont beleive in fanart but yes thats Ichigo apparently (i dont watch the show) just did it out of opacity whites with ref. and the second piece if just a landscape desset concept, living inside a cacti. :]
hope i can get some feedback and some more comments soon! i need inspiring tbh haha!

Tronrobot -> thanks, not as good as your work haha, but ive been busy and that was fairly rushed..much too busy.

hm yep your pencil is stronger than your digitals. Try making digitals less blurry (use more hard brushes and don't give in to the temptation to blend everything immediately when you are just starting)

Krysjez -> Thanks for your advice, ill definently take that into consideration- your sketch style probably shreds mine to pieces in some aspects anyways, and your photoshop is probably on par. wouldnt mind seeing some sharpness from yours too! (reverse crit) =] but i mean well! thanks again

Daily update
just a page that i did for anatomy, its going to be my focus this week so all im going to be doing is working hard on anatomy and faces! wish me luck and support :] will be posting daily! -more coming tonite

kinda hitting the fundementals of rendering and anatomy, trying my best, its pretty difficult stuff to me! and it takes me a while to churn a page out too i find!............ as much as i want to jump on photoshop and such im trying to get back to basics so that overall i become a better artist =] Crits more than welcome. This work is getting too difficult for me still. i keep wondering what im going to use these lovely sketches for if it takes me so many months just to learn basics- unlike your strong sketchbook, i only like the pieces that actual mean something/ doing something- a true concept.
even though studies are neccesary, especially for the human body- im just getting too bored wanting perfection/ the ultimate pose. i like ideas, the material something is made of, a location, a futuristic design of a car -> how it functions, why does it function. ect.I need meaning to my work- so maybe i will just go for ideas, and the repetition of drawing them will increase these "basics" in time.

if anyone has a better theory then that, go ahead and Enlighten me thanks!! :] Peace.

Very good work in paper.
Your studies are good,as well as your theory.You must feel happy when you drew.Sometimes,you have some ideals,then do it,man!The studies are help you show your ideals.Keep post.

MaFeng-> thanks for your compliments, but i am definently tossing up between more "concepts" vs. anatomy, and learning. ie, more fine art stuff. i dont actually like much in this world. so thats why i think concepts are important. they are ideas that differ from the existing!

Another one of my older favourites, done with ink and a brush on a 30cm x 120cm long piece of thick paper. had to cut it in 2 for photo purposes.

Late post, but i am currently trying to work out the kinks of this character demon type thing im doing for a photoshop final. This is what im currently working on and will hopefully post the final before i pass out and fall asleep haha! hope you like it,

nice sketch page! really digging that helmet on the top right...reminds me of one of my favorite designs..the balrog from lord of the rings. also like the chains and misselanious items on the ground, etc.....like its got a story connected to it. can't wait on the final!

if anyone had some advice on where to place the demon or any tips and tricks of photoshop then please go ahead before i finish my piece off, thanks :]
not the best at this type of stuff, but im trying to make most of the cave a pretty smooth red, and then will add more rock textures on the walls and the demon will roughly go either on the left (almost a side on view) or a 1/3rd view on the right walls, inbetween the posts.- also thinking of experimenting with the white light, ie. make it a eerie green and such - hope youve got some advice for me! thanks.

my work in progresses are on page one, sorry but it went to page 2, but all cool! anyways!------------

A little bit about the work: After about 3 or 4 hours finally i got bored with it, decided to work on the demon as a seperate more abstract piece and get it more finite before ending up rushing its design.
despite that ive managed to produce some sort of scary/poisonous cave type thing for it to live in, or perhaps it leads somewere, nobody has lived to find out (exept me!) was difficult to get all the colours somewant smooth and to blend in without having whites come through, but i think ive done alright for an amatuer at this kinda stuff haha. Crits more than welcome!
