Nook and Sketchbook

So apparently it's possible to install the full android os on the nook lcd allowing users to use it more like a tablet than just an ebook reader. I'm interested in the nook mostly as a possible alternative to the ipad. The android version of sketchbook could then be installed on the nook. Is sketchbook on the nook any good? Is there a pen for the nook? Has anyone tried this out yet?

This is the tablet I've been eying so far. Any insight?

I think until the Motorolla Xoom comes out, there really is no alternative. I read that sketchbook for Galaxy tab won't open full screen or screen resolution or something. Is that correct?

At the end of the day right now, as a digital sketchpad the iPad is not that pricey of a tool. If you're not an artist I'm really miffed in the value in it though...

Also a lot of the cheap tablets have a resistive screen. If I compare drawing on my Nokia n97 to my friends HTC, i imagine drawing on a resistive screen would be rubbish, which I think these ebook readers are.
