    Hi matey

This stuff is amazingly good! I especially like the hammerhead thug he made me and my kids laugh and laugh, are you doing kids illustration as a job or are you starting out? I am just wondering what your career path is, judging by the kids (ages 6 and 9) reaction to the shark and some of the other stuff you got it made matey.

All the very best to you matey

I drew some buddies for my fat pirate, now he doesn't have to plunder the seas alone. I accidentally reduced my brush size when I was cleaning up the middle guys, which his why the line treatment looks a little different.

Lightship69: Thanks, I'm doing concept art for videogames at the moment, although doing kids illustrations is something that has crossed my mind.

mike butkus: Thank you very much, I'm a big fan of your sketchbook, very insightfull.

And thanks for the comments to everyone else of course.

I would say go for it mate honestly, or at least look into it as a potential sideline and money spinner. I mean yea gods with credit crunches and recessions every other day, each penny counts mate.

All the best and I will keep looking, I kinda like this book mate

Dropping some color onto these guys, also a little urban enviro practice.

QueenWorm:Thanks, most of the time I try to be systematic with my coloring, solving one problem at a time. I usually paint in some midtones, then work on shadows and leave the highlights for last, I also try to keep values as clean as possible. If there's something more specific you'd like to know, just ask.

    Nice work !
I really like the fatty pirate. I cannot remember having seen someone like this before.
On the other hand the muscle pirate right next to him seems rather standart in comparison. But who am I to talk ?

I'll kick things of with some goblin guys, not sure I'll ever get around to rendering the bottom four.

Soooo abselutly great! Like your style a lot! But sometimes your materials have all the same look. Try to make more difference between for example metal and wood, or between skin an cloth.

But your use of shadow is outstanding!

    PS: Nice Eye-Gouger btw ^^
