The study on 743 is just stunning! Damn I wish I learned to handle edges like that some day. The diving helmet could use some irregularities but nice feel of metal!

Eraiasu: Cheers ma!, Apreciate it.
So, I have been playing with this idea in my head of starting to livestream some of my painting sessions. Would that be cool? Is anyone out there interested seeing me painting live? Let me know.
If you don't feel like commenting just like this post if you feel like you would like to see me livestreaming.
Study of the day.:
Yes yes livestream! It would be definitely awesome to follow how you make your images from scratch!
I promise to be stalking you if you do that (If it happens in the evenings)
By the way awesome Sargent studies as always!
Satu: Heh. Damn stalkers.
Yeah it would be evenings and mostly in weekends...I think.

Oh crap I missed your livestreams. Though I watched couple of them later on.
Looking good, keep on streaming! I'll try to figure out how I manage to be there at the right time (since I don't visit ca that often). Oh and also thanks for showing me the existence of mixer brush![]()
That bird has awesome colours. I personally prefer broader strokes then tapping blobs but still its just a matter of choice. Keep on keeping on!![]()

Amazing work man, really love the texture on that helmet study. Will definitely watch your next live stream, really inspiring stuff.
good colors and surfaces, i like how you use the sharpen tool! i see some future usages for this tool in my art.
Blazingdimension: cool, and thanks
satu: Yeh, I need to find better venue for announcing my livestreaming. Or I could start some sort of schedule, though my studies and work make creating regular schedule problematic. :/
Meteorcat: Yeah, the birdie didn't come out as well as I initially thought. :/
Jordan: Thanks man! Hope to see you in the next livestream.
llex_paul: Thanks!
Quick study. Javik from ME 3. Love the design.
Also value study/testing.
dude how do you do it, so lovely!
Yemi: Practice, experimentation and lots of ctrl+z
Fruits of the latest livestream:
Your values are spot on man! Nice to stop by in here again.
Yo mate whats up!! Man these are awesome, are you sure you are not good with values? I really like what you are doing so far. Whats exactly bothering you? It seems you can work well with limited values so you kinda know what goes where. I think your problem may be compositional so let me know what you have in mind. And about smoothing actually in 756# you show that you know about that to. Dont know, i like very much what i see. The problems will be more visible when you proceed at doing an illustration, so maybe do one
I did a quick paintover but i am sure you would have done better, maybe it will act as a reminder. Definitely keep up
!!!

King: Thanyou so much for dropping by and giving some C&C. Really apreciate it.It might very well be that the problme is in the composition and not in the values. hmmm...gotta do some tests on that.
Loving what you did in the paintover. Never realized that heal brush could be actually usefull in blending and smoothing!
Thanks again!
Forgotten plain environment painting. Really need some environment pieces to my portfolio.
nice enviro painting![]()
lol, nice to see you work.
here's the alternative boar total crappy paintover
do whatever you want with it...unspeakable things lol
I upped the contrast on the foreground dude a little, and widened the canvas
I played around with a few thing in the environment, such as rocks and debree on the ground,
and these pillars you've got going, to have them point more towards your point of interest: the boar.
And also a little bit to the secondary point of interest, the dude. Hope this helps.
