There comes a time in a young man's life where he realizes that up to this point it's all been fun and games. No work, all play. You've been a child up until this point. And sadly, a child cannot achieve the dreams you've been grasping at.
I came late to the art game. At the ripe age of 17, I took my first serious art class and decided "Hell, this isn't half bad. I might want to do this for a living." But at such a late stage in my High School career, I had little time to research schools and build a portfolio. Then all hell broke loose.
To make a long story short, my life took a tumultuous turn and now I find myself at 20, approaching 21, with little or nothing to show for myself or my dream of becoming an Artist. I cannot accept this.
So here I am, here by suggestion of a good friend and respected collegue. I am here to draw. Here to create. And biggest of all, I am here to learn.
So hello to the Conceptart.org community. I look forward to working, interacting, and learning from you all.
