Hey there! I think you should give up the stylized stuff for a little while. You've got to build up a foundation in your mind of how real life looks, then you can do anything you want to it. Keep drawing from observation and life, and try to make what you observe yours so you can draw it all from your head. Studying from Andrew Loomis' books would be a good start. His work's old and out of print, but it's all over the internet. Also, you might want to use
this instead of posemaniacs, it uses real people and has an animal option too! Focus more on traditional work than on digital painting, and have fun! I think you should expect and ask for constructive criticism, seems to me like that would be one of the chief reasons for putting your work online. Well, good luck!
