    Riku's sketches and studies

Hi! I'm a 17 year old highschooler from finland who loves drawing and (mostly digital)painting. It's a bit intimidating to be posting my doodles here with the great artists that visit the site site but i think that this should make me motivated and work much harder. Improvement is the thing that im looking for so i appreciate all comments and especially critique!

heres some really recent studies of mine, some crazy ant-human mixes and an enviro sketch, look forward for regular updating!

Awesome studies man! Just watch your edges in some of them (like the fourth one down). But pretty solid stuff overall.

And you should check out the Teen Challenge Section on the forums, you will do pretty well in there I think! New round is going up soon.

Well, environments are definitely your strength. Very solid studies if I do say so. Maybe try a few from imagination instead of just copying photos.

Your figures are a fair bit weaker, just keep up with the Bridgman and you will improve on them though.

    Keep it up!

Liked every post so far. Very tight stuff for a guy your age.

As Andrew said, would be great to see some enviros also from imagination.

    Keep posting.

    I'm flattered, thanks for commenting!

Here's a sketch that i've been wanting to do for some time now, kind of an personal flying vehicle or whatever u wanna call it, I was heavily inspired by the shape of an dragonfly.

Hello mr. Finland. Nice Sb you've got going on here. And you're so fucking young. Shit... If I could've drawn this well when I was your age I'd be the best painter in the world. But I couldn't and therefore I'm not. Keep on working hard my friend and please put a link to this thread on your signature.
