I love your concepts for the streamline vehicles, Once we get this Planetary R-evolution out the way i can see ideas like yours coming to fruition, once we start uncovering all the age old suppressed tech we need to develop a planetary and resource abundance i imagine we will see much more innovation in our design and its implication. Im holding on for that one ^^
Also i see from one of your paintings or 3D work i cant tell which but you have produced a aerial view of a city with huge buildings or maybe spacecraft which look like giant merkabas if im not mistaken. Lots of this work is bordering on visionary work, and i love it!
I love your Living pirate ships too ^^ i can just imagine something like that its very imaginative.
I hope we can help each other (i will try my best o help you haha) in any way possible and i hope we maintain conversation as i admire your work, all the way down to your initial comment about Conceptartdotorg being like a little efficient economy based on creative and innovation/ ideas
Also thank you very much for commenting on my Sketchbook
Peace and respect to you friend

So Dr Cool-Ice (you are so going to regret telling someone to call you that), when are you going life drawing again? Cool watch, even if it has more dials than a normal person actually requires.
Nice updates! That watch is very good! Maby it will look good with some light spots just to make it shine and stand out more?
I really like the black and white images in #986, they look so cool!
I love the battleship ideas with the dolphins in front of it! Great idea and very powerful scribble / finishing!
BNW thanks a lot dude! I like where youre coming from there! Deffo keep in touch. I have to admit though, I stole the idea of giant city buildings 20km tall from Beyond Heavens River by Greg Bear, and the ships from Dark is the Sun by PJ Farmer. Bother super recommended!
Spot Never once in my medical career have I regretted anything, except that time I left my gameboy inside that poor womans body cavity and sewed her back up, when I realised where the tetris music was coming from I was sooo embarassed.
GH Good thinking, Ill test out some specular "birdshit" highlights and see how they look. Re BW stuff, my friend Ron showed me how; make a back ground with some dark and light areas, then scribble more or less at random using all the brushes you can find on the top. Out of 10 in 10 minutes there were 2 I thought actually worked suprisingly well. Im gonna practice that technique a lot as it seems to generate lots of new ideas and always has quite good lighting composition.
Surus thank you sir! Craig Mullins called using lots of scribbly strokes "licking" and its not really the most painterly thing to do. The really clever people like him and Jaime Jones are so artful in their strokes, theyre big heroes of mine! thanks for saying hi!
OK heres some artwork I did for the game I mentioned. I did all the cars and accessory kits and such. The idea was to make them like real world cars, only not. Like in GTA. Loads of fun. Big thanks to Pat and the crew at Ratrod, a most righteous and excellent bunch!

super quick sketch of Serehfa from Feersum Endjinn. In the book -SPOILERS- it is a castle 25km tall. Ive got the scale wrong here, its base is maybe 6km above sea level and the top is maybe 15km. back to the drawing board. its just tricky to figure out how to draw something so humungous. might have to not fit it all in, like a thundercloud...
edit, added some sketches with the castle behind a big volcano which i think is correct. sadly it looks insane and doesnt give a sense of bigness either.

Hey really enjoy your sb, this update on the castle gives it a good sense of scale, would not want to play hide and seek in there.
Awesome work on the cars, and that castle is looking really neat too. Adding some haze might help make it look bigger? I figure it'd make it look like it's further away (and thus larger for how much of the frame it fills up). Don't quote me on that though, I'm just guessing!
The castle is awsome, I guess you spend hours on your works, I admire your patience!

Very powerfull ideas goin on here... Very cool boats you did, specially the second paint.![]()
Hey, well done with the artwork for the car game! Those concept sketches look so smooth. Do you also do them in 3d?
The castle wip is looking fine. Didn't see the small one at first sight ^^ . Castles are always interesting.
love that watch VK, the rendering looks delicious: I'd totally buy it
looking at all the cars sort of scared me when I started considering the amount of construction and stuff that goes into each of them!

Amazing interior paintings man! is there a technique to achieving that hyper-realistic look you have for the indoor paintings or just LOTS of rendering and hard work. Eithery way i hope to see more of your work!!!

Holy cow, I've only flipped through the last couple pages and already my imagination and drawin' urge is on fire, this is amazingly creative and well-rendered stuff!
Apologies if suggestions aren't needed, but something you might want to consider to help sell the sense of scale on the castle is the level and size of the details. A lot of the recognizable parts of the castle (some windows, buttresses, crenellations, etc) are scaled up with the rest of the castle, but those are the visual cues we all recognize as being somewhat human-sized (or relative to human scale). If the castle stands miles above the mountain it rests on, I'd imagine it would be bristling with rooms, windows, balconies, and other architectural "noise" due to how we (as people) use our space on a human scale.
I don't know if it's supposed to be used for humans, however, so that all might be a moot point. Otherwise you could make the taller parts almost disappear into the haze of the sky, if they're that many miles away. The comparison cue with the smaller castle in the middle ground definitely helps though![]()
Hi matey
I have to say that your fame and greatness is spreading around the forum like a wildfire which is nice to see old chap!
Loved the cars by the way! but that castle has me foxed! "who lives in a house like this?" as they used to say on that TV program through the keyhole. The castle at the front is tiny and the white one is huge and fit for storm giants. so I am intrigued by the mystery.
I probably should get out more I know.
anyhow all the very best to you my matey stay well and keep on posting

Fresh, fresh, FRESH!
Love seeing the influence of your product design background combined with just crazy compositions and colour. Such a breadth of styles and techniques. Fantastique.
Did i mention it was fresh?
Sometimes I think a lot of the human mind's max capabilities and performance possibilities,
and I never get the final point, never get the final answer. When I see the final wall, the final
dot, there is always more behind that. The general feeling and influence is that there is still
a lot hidden from us all. There is something behind the curtain, that is restricted for us, just like
for the rats in that carton maze, or for the little cockroaches under the sink. There is always something
bigger and not understandable. Our mind is not created to understand some things, we are also bugs
trying to live better and to get richer. I want to get rich, I do not know why, I want a lot of money,
and then , then, I do not know, hire the best looking females in my eyes, to do me the best and most
erotic stuff that I can ever imagine. So pointless to live when the mind goes wild and uncontrolled. When
I visited conceptart.org a few years ago, I could not understand how some people could perform something
visually so unbelievable and beautiful for the eyes. How is that possible? I felt like boiled chicken on the
dinner table. And here it goes again. I look at your latest art and your vehicle designs, for this game or what,
and I cannot understand it. How can one achieve it? I want to give up but I will not, I still want to get rich
but don't know why and how. You brightness and monster power is not for me, I still have to grow,
for now I will post a "Good job" comment. Later when I increase my caliber, if I don't die before,
then I will be more constructive and write something useful. Take care and be good,
oh and visit my sketchbook when you can, it feels good to have you there.
Please let me reply to you each properly, but say thankyou collectively now, you lovely humans make everything ok.
Oh and snake, this my make you chuckle: http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/Andro...ew.asp?c=45558
"Bizarrely, though, the cars - traditionally the stars of any racing show - have boxy, indistinct looks that even adding a few decals can't really polish up." Ouch! Butiwusonlyfullowinorders! Hehe oh well.
Heres a restaurant.
