Here's some doodles from yesterday and also some recent works (I need to get my paintings on my computer but I'm never satisfied with the quality since I have to photograph them)
I love the sketch practices at posemaniacs.com so here's some (1 min, 30sec and 10sec practices)
10 sec:
30 sec:
1 min:
Also, some other sketches (not timed)
Some recent photoshopstuff:

Tough to learn life drawing on pose-maniacs. Any life drawing where you are? Also, you might want to start doing graphic design now, see how you like it, show them you're interested in the main focus of the program.

Hi Keith! Thanks for your commentI try to get people pose for me whenever I have a pen in my hand and they are willing to, haha. When I browsed through the critique section I found this page that i'm now using: http://pixelovely.com/tools/gesture.html, it's a LOT better since the posemaniacs muscles are just flat
Here's some new stuff:
Here's a picture I really liked but after a few days not looking at it I noticed so big anatomy problems it really made me angry that I used so much time on it. (I did the whole sketch and lineart in one night, really wasn't a good idea.
And a dragon-doodle which I might turn into a finished piece some day:

A sketch and my little brother![]()
Wow, long time no update. I have drawn though
Anyway, here's something I made for Mother's day for my mom.
Mechanical pencil 07mm. about 3-4 hours.
That's me in the upper right!

Hey there! welcome to the CA. Nice work ... I really like your approach to giving all parts of the sketch an equal amount of attention. too often you see people concentrate on only one aspect like the eyes and then everything else suffers. Cant wait to see more!
"It's nothing really, all in a days work for us bicycle repair men"
Hey shambok, thank you! I never thought about that, very interesting!![]()
Some new stuff: (mostly speedpaints)

Some quick life sketches.
I moved to a new city and right next to me is this big workers' institute where they have courses on life drawing and such. I'm starting one at the start of September, it's only 40 euros for 36 lessons.
Guess who

Okay, bunch of pictures I've done in the past month or so: (All of these are about 2-4 hour semi-speedpaints)
Life drawing started! three hours each Tuesday, I couldn't be happier. So, here's my first life drawings: (They're a bit cut-off because of the big size.. Then I photographed the rest)
First three are 4-minute poses:
3min to 1 min poses
40 minutes:

I worked on this for a few days, then I suddenly started hating it.. But I guess I learned something so I'll post it here =p

Life drawing again! I was tired after a long day though, feels like I didn't get the most out of myself.. It was fun nonetheless

Heyya Minelo!
You have some good work here! I really like your sketches in post #17!
Also I love blonde girl in post #18 and the warrior in #19!
I can see that you are doing a lot of good practice too!
Keep up the good work, and keep posting!
See you around!
That last face covering your sketchbook is just sweet! keep going!
Thank you, both of you!
Here's an illustration, combining some stuff I've been studying about faces recently

speed painting again![]()
Life drawing time again.
I am very annoyed with my scanner. I can't find a way to calibrate the contrast, nor can I find an option where I can cancel automatic cropping. I know that not putting anything right next to the side it won't crop, but when I have a paper size A3 it will automatically crop it. It is VERY frustrating.. Hence the missing of legs/arms/anything..
I did some longer poses today.
10 min:
20 min:
40 min:

The life drawing sketches are great! I look forward to seeing more of your work.
I got the scanner to work! Much better quality now
First today's life drawing's, I did only two, both 40 mins. I used a bit of pencil and charcoal. After that random unreferenced doodles (except the bottle)

Nice stuff! I love the portrait in post #23, her expression is really intense! The contrasting/blueish colors really make the image pop.
Keep up the studies!
I really like those most recent doodles, and love the feel in the recent charcoal/pencil figure drawings. I like the technique you've got going there.
Thank you, both of you!
Today was a super day of drawing and studying.
My first 'proper' environmental picture.
Muscle studies
