You obviously have a strong drawing background, because these first posts look great! What is your goal for studying? Keep posting!

    Thanks, guys

My drawing background is only my own observation from life and lessons from books of drawing and calssical painting etc... no artistic direction from teachers and art supervision at all (unfortunately). I study history in university at the moment, so i don't have no time to draw much. Only some sketches.

I want to learn classical ways and principles to do art, so i have strong basic skills. (in perspective, composition, colours and so)

    Tere Rauno,

Hey, thanks for looking at my sketchbook. No, man, they don't look stupid. They have character and style. You're pretty good for not having much time to draw, imagine if you had more time. Anyways, I'd suggest getting some life sketches up there. You know, people studying, eating, walking around. Keep it up!

    Hi,

You have a great sketch book!
Your last creature is cool, but somehow I just can't imagine it living in the city like background you have created. I like the colours you are working with in this sketch!

    Thanks, ranunkel!

Well... he's not suppose to fit with this background city. More like he is abandoned and now he's dont know where to go..

I'll try to draw concept some day...

I like your work! Your colour work is great, it's probably your strongest facet of your skills. When you're rendering out your cartoon-ey work like "fisher23" and "pair" and "no war" and so forth, your style really works well. There's nice, open planes and strong cartooney lines. I especially like your construction in them, like in "pair" where they are convincingly symmetrical & well planned.

Your more real-life based drawing or constructions need more work, but it's not flawed or anything. The heads and so forth in the first post either have quite smalll skulls or quite elongated skulls. There's anatomy issues here and there, but they can be worked out. "Girl" is flat-looking and her abdomen is just off enough to seem weird.

Keep on practising! I really like your work.
