Here's another!
One more for today
Pretty good stuff, dude!I would say that going by the reference as seen here, dude's flesh could use a bit more red.
Outside of that, looks good.
@Mr.Ebony: Thanks for stopping by, and thanks for the crit!
Another SP from today. Learning stuff kinda
great SB!

I don't know, you have such a ,clear' pencil-style. That's so cool! Please kleep up your studies, they're amazing
I recognized Melvin Paul Guillard, Jr. above, the MMA fast
rising star. Am I right? You did a fantastic job on him. You know
that before he got into MMA, he was breeding tomatoes on a hidden
farm in North Dakota if I’m not mistaking. There is a branded ketchup
version of his still selling. Your self portraits are looking great and
you are improving with each and every try. I would like you to go
a bit sharper and more finished with some of your digital paintings.
The female bodies and legs are soooo soooo hot, I got my mind
all shuck up. Epicness over multiple occasion.
Playing Guild Wars is dangerous, cause it performs a sabotage on
your art career. Be careful around those facts. Take it easy and
keep continuing working slowly and surely, cause your progress
is obviously visible. You are a dragon a true beast who never
stops to improve and evolve.
Hey, nice work with the self portraits! The blue and green touch givs them a more realistic skin tone and reflection. I also like the water colors.
I would siggest that you work more with the body mass constructions. That'll give the bodys sketches a more 3d look. I see that you have used that tecnique in some images already.
Keep it up you're doing good!
@Aragah: Thank you! I realize the brushwork is lacking, still getting a hang on it. Thanks for stopping by!
@yphiel: Thanks so much
@LtPlissken: Always great to hear from you man, thanks for stopping by. Luckily Guild Wars is no longer a factor. Back to work!
@Greenhouse: Thanks for the suggestion, will focus on it. Thanks for stopping by!
Couple more
University projects have been crazy, no time to upload everything. Here's a study from last night!
dang man, i really like the way you paint.
i was wondering here, you use a lot of green, i would like to incorporate that too, but it never seems to work for me,
im quite curious of how you make it work. maybe its the purple-blue you put in other parts that make the green fit in the image?
if you have any theory behind it, i would be happy to hear it![]()

@Aragah- Thanks for stopping by, Yeah absolutely. I was taught to paint traditionally, and with that it was essential to learn color theory. It helped that I had a teacher that was rather expressive with color. Green acts a cross compliment to the Orangeish skin tone, this results in a dulling effect for midtones. The Blue-Purple is because of my tendency to not use black, its close to black but hue-ful. Hope that helps! Great work btw!
It's been a while guys but here's an update

Another one!

you have a very painterly style even in digital formatI'd try and see how far you could go rendering out one of your digital studies, since you have all the values pretty much down, so it would just be a matter of blending and patience. Just something to try. Watercolors look great btw. keep going bud
@Ghast: Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate the complimentYeah that is something im struggling with, the rendering is the most difficult part to grasp at the moment. Gonna keep at it!
Heres a screencap study from this morning
Great work jNeumann, your traditional self portraits are a killer.
If you have a moment, Help me improve with critiques. thank you Sketchbook
