On a final note, want to once again offer my condolences to Hollie and her children for the loss of a fiancé and father, Michael Martinez of Mercury Art Studios. I never met the man personally but we shared many ideas and he had some great things coming down the pike..he was killed by a drunk driver last week before the holiday. Mike was a big supporter of the custom community, and had some awesome talent - if you knew him or purchased work from him and wish to pay your respects or offer a small donation to help the family, all the info you need is listed at the bottom of my latest blog entry, or you can go to imperialshipyards.net for additional info. Hate to sound like a PSA announcement but don't drink and drive guys - look at what can happen.

Loving the new updates, the Savage Opress is just awesome, as are Malgus and the others. As for Clint - honestly I'm waiting for the painted version, still not sure about the likeness... The brim of the hat is a challenge, I had to sculpt one for a Indiana Jones figure form polymer clay and it was pain... But you did great! Keep it up, we're all watching you

Hey guys! Happy October! My favorite month next to May. Been over a month since my last posting WOW! Time flies when you're ULTRA BUSY!

Those are cool as hell! I hadn't considered starting off from an existing figure- sounds like a great way to get started! I think I might try out your method with some original characters of mine.

I have a technique question- are you using Sculpey to cover the existing figures? They bake okay, the plastic doesn't get soft or anything?

Hey guys!

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and are ready to kick off the Holidays!

Sorry for my absence - when you see this recent update (sculpting, painting and photography) you'll understand why.

Anyway, when not in the kitchen, I spent most of my holiday getting images and copy ready for this BIG REVEAL of some major 1:18 scale figures of familiar...and some not so familiar characters.

Hey guys!

I just posted up a new blog entry over at Sith_fire30 Creations focusing on the past months work on characters and sets from the 1979 motion picture ALIEN.

Cybernetic Starkiller is back on the workbench having his arms and torso sculpted. Removed the tubing to complete the upper body sculpt - look forward to getting work done on the legs soon.



Sculpting for the HUGE Vong Commander Tsalok from the Dark Horse comic series Star Wars: Invasion in complete! This guy is HEAVY!!! He's ready to be painted up!

Speaking of paint - a few more return to the brush the next couple weeks....including this lady...
