    Wink Magic happens here! (kinda)

    Oh hai there!

My very fresh and first thread here at CA! I always check these forums, seeing all other amazing artists here, I decided to finally show some of my own stuff. I'll gonna start with only few recent sketches, I should post much more in time

    Cheers!

Love the jungle painting and portrait, your colour use is especially good

My only criticism, and I don't think you could really call it that, is that I would love to see you develop the portrait further.

Finally Finished, named it "Bento". Here it's description:

You will most likely find Bentos hiding deep in swamps. They have extremely long legs, when crouched, they're about 2 meters tall, and when they stretch out, their height can reach up to 6 meters, sometimes up to 8.

Bentos are perfect jumpers and swimmers, yet they're not so good runners.
In swampy water, Bentos move around perfectly, usually they can reach the bottom with their feet, and still are able to peek their head from the water. Long legs allow them to swim easily, and huge feet allow them to easily walk in muddy soft ground.

great start so far. That 5 min moody piece reminds me of House on Haunted hill, but that aside its still makes a nice thumbnail to revisit later

Speedie before going to sleep, though I don't like the result. I feel that something is missing, the atmosphere and colours aren't the way I wan't them to be, but meh... I'll do another one

I like your paintings. Speedpainting of the ship and last creature especially.

very nice work. the last one seems to reallly carry a story across. did you use the lasso tool ontop of painted parts there?

    Thank you! (:
Yes, I did use Lasso tool, but it wasn't on top of painted parts, I tried mixing it in while I was painting.
Actually this was my first time experimenting with this tool, I'm hoping to use it more in my future works.

Haven't done any speedies today, been a bit busy with work.
But I still want to keep up with my promise to upload something here daily.
So here's an older piece, from november 2012, I think I consider it finished. It was done mainly to study the grass and rocks (:
