    I remember...

This one is finished for now, but please point out any mistake or anything which can be improved in future paintings!
It's an acrylic painting 40x60 cm themed around extinction. The creature is modeled after a Griffon vulture, a species which can live up to about 40 years, and the figurines around her neck are all animals which have gone extinct in the last 40 years, mostly due to habitat loss.

This is a cool piece, great concept! The first thing that stuck out to me were the hands, they're not just there yet, drawing wise. But you know what to do about that, just more hand studies! Another thing is while the head turns nicely and the structure there is almost perfect, the eye looks a bit pasted on. Another thing that I noticed is the way the staff is fading into the mist makes it look for a moment like she's holding just a short stick in the air. I definitely think that the hading off is a nice trick, it adds space and atmosphere, but I think you've don it too much, so it looks like the staff is cut off. The last thing is that the animals around her neck are a bit hard to read. When I look closely I see that they're all kinda the same stuffed animal-type models like the pyrenean ibex on the stick, but when they're all together they seem like a jumbled mass of shapes.

These are mostly nit-picks, overall I really like it, nice movement of the figure, nice colours and a great concept!

I like the concept but its lacking.

    Use references...

The top left area... too much yellow, tone that down. In fact, have a warmer main figure. Turn up the saturation on the cape and clothes. Add some patterns, some props, things he's carrying. He looks mage-like, shamanistic almost so add potion belt(s), charms, runes, daggers, etc.

The lighting on the figure clashes with the environment. A yellow sky this bright would produce yellow ambience; and your figure does not show any of that. It might be lit by a different light source, but the values and the absence of shadow from such a source preclude that.

Next time, keep the lighting consistent.
