    Heyo,now that's a big SB.
    Thx4dropping by mine.

The sheer number of pics is amazing and although it's "just" a sketchbook, I believe that some more details in you sketches could already make it better.
I think some anatomical knowledge could help too, since your characters consist of rather straight lines, which can make them look a little stiff. You might also try some outline variation, like thicker/thinner, dark/bright, or just dont close the line, keep it open here and there.

    Aww missed your stream
Your workplace study looks good, you have a window to draw inspiration from! Don't really know what you're seeing there. Where I do most of my works I don't have a window, maybe I should relocate to a different room?

Anyway keep the high level of grind up!

I do not find the view of my window to be very inspiring though. The view is kinda fugly, only grass. I hate grass.

Why do they suck so much :V
It was an attempt at drawing the Aegis. The first sketch should have been mirrored officially because it holds the gun in the right hand. But I forgot that since I rejected the sketch anyway.

A Faux I am studying trucks for the sake of the comic I am working on :V
    YEAH GANDAMUUUUU WAAAAH

Kerah I think they are beneficial... They are hard to do and that usually means for me that I learn a lot. And I saw many other great artists do them.
So I was like.. it must be useful then :V Maybe kinda naive, but it cannot destroy my art right :>

ashess is there a joke I missed? XD

uuh, I forget where I heard this, but apparently, a good amount of time to work on a bargue is 12 hours. anything under 6 doesnt count. at all!
the hands are good sketches- and I'll be fair, I'd wonder what I'd be doing on a piece like that after 15 minutes. but its not a bargue.

so I took your comment to mean 'you hate bargue' - so you do this to spite it; then Kerah asks you if the bargue was usefull... I though it was a joke ^^ no offence meant!

I like the fish eggs. (1 &2) but wouldnt a 'wrap' be better to try the design on. you know, so you can draw 'all the way around' the egg?
    Warning, I draw babiez

@ashess: uuuh 12 hours?! I do not think I have enough patience to spend that long on a study xD
    What's not bargue btw?
haha I think I said "I hate bargue" because I was frustrated with it at the moment. I do not really hate it I think ^^; I also drew it in the morning. That seriously makes a difference for me hahahaha
In the morning I hate all things
Wrapping the design around the egg was a nice idea too. I thought I would draw them as eggs so that I "see" how the design appears as an egg XD

    Easter is coming...

I think you should try to spend more time on the bargues. Even 12 hours is really not long at all if you want to do them how they were intended. It's not uncommon for full-time art students to spend a month or more on their bargues, you really need to copy them absolutely perfectly, the proportions have to be spot on, the tone has to be consistent and the transitions have to be perfect.

I recommend you try to do that, print out a full-size bargue that isn't too complicated, tape it next to the paper and use a piece of string for assistance in measuring. There are a lot of helpful posts on bargues and these couple videos explain the process quite well too. Remember you can do other stuff while working on the bargue too, but really they are meant to be done as longer studies.
