    New Monitor Help.

Hi guys need some urgent help.

I am looking to upgrade from my 14'' crt monitor to a Full HD TFT Monitor.I am a graphic designer and mostly use Photoshop and Illustrator but may use 3Ds Max and Maya in future.

I looked and find http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...amsung%20p2350 as a good choice manly because of Contrast Ratio(50,000:1) , Resolutions(1,920 x 1,080 full high definition resolution), Monitor Size(23''), Response time(2ms) and ofcourse price($209)

    My questions are,
Is it a good choice for a graphic Designer ?
Also, would I be able to use photoshop and illustrator with full hd resolution without the images getting streatched ? Or I will have to set it to 4:3 resulution ? ( I just want more canvas size. where the canvas in the middle is bigger and tools docked to side )
Is there a better option then this for around $200 ?

Please Pardon my english.Looking forward to your responses.

    Thanks

I have a similar samsung and it's...meh.. The color is nice but for work it constantly needs tweaking. The viewing angles are poor and no adjustable stand. I have it set up higher on some old monitor stand I found at an auction.

I recently picked up this ViewSonic. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-421-_-Product
It's great and holds calibration better than the samsung. It has an IPS Panel with height and angle adjustment. Fantastic viewing angles. And you can pivot the monitor 90 degrees and work in portrait.

The programs will adjust to your screen resolution. Just make sure your video card can handle 1920x1080.

I run the Viewsonic and the Samsung in a dual monitor setup. It's a nice little setup.
