    What is your approach to painting? Since the final product have so many distinct styles i'm wondering if you are doing it in more than a couple of ways.

    Thanks guys !

    Care - my attention span wanes for detailed pieces but gonna work on it definitely! I always go goodness! I should spend all this time on studying instead..

    Wanana - The last full painted piece was started a long time ago! My style has gradually changed. But yeah cos my work requires me to conform to existing styles I have to be real adaptable.
    But normally for painting I have 2 ways. Black and white before applying colour or applying colour straight. I rarely use lineart cos they're mostly sketches! hope that answers!

    More sketches and stuff I draw on paper at work else than work. And an attempt to detail out a character there's more progress now but ill try my best to finish it soon!

    Oh wow man, love how you draw faces, really awesome stuff, found you on that study group forum by the way, so we might be in the same group . One crit though, on the second painting in the last post, the way you have foreshortened her face because of the upwards angle seems a bit weird. I think that her nose should be higher up and also her eyes look a bit flat, you would really see the spherical shape of the lid wrapping around the eyeball from there. Anyways, great stuff and keep it up .

    Great sketchbook if i havent already said. I want to comment on your horses. I am kinda disappointed that the page with my favorite horse isnt here =(. You drew one where he is lying down slightly and you show him having such great weight on him. Another great one is the one where he seems to be pulling against something. You show such great force in him, with your paralleled legs. Nice nice nice =)

    Wowzers, I'm impressed with your work. Secondly, thanks for dropping by my sketchbook to offer some advice. very thankful for it! I have some questions for you since you work in the industry!: 1.Where do you work? 2. What made the company pick you? 3. HOW ARE YOU SO GOOD?! haha.. (practice and asking good questions I'm sure...! I won't waste your time since I'm 100 percent dedicated to art. Don't worry, I'll work as hard as I am right now... (very hard) at becoming a professional illustrator and concept artist by 2014 or sooner or as long as it takes to get there through my best effort and discipline. Oh yes, and more concept art is on it's way. Been really trying to get my fundamentals better because about 3 months ago they just weren't there to produce convincing illustrations or concepts. but lo, via practice I have gotten better.. haha.... sooooo much better..and so have you.     Can't wait to see more from you. Your sketches are great and you're a great inspiration to me! Sadly i'm not good enough to give proper critique, but I have to say your gestures and especially females are amazing. ;///;

    your materials look great. I was going to ask you about environment painting, but it seems you struggle with that too. It is soooo hard. I feel like you do, "IS THE SKY BLUE?! AM I ALIVE?! WHAT AM I DOING?!?" haha... well if you find out anything that you think could help, let me know! gogogo
