Looking at that cartoon alien, it'd be interesting if you post some original stuff every now and then between your observational stuff. But I like seeing the clean lines from any of your sketches in general

sketches are looking really good, and clean! however i notice you occasionally exaggerate certain features, from the nose, to the hips, it's not all the time, it's just every once in a while, thought i'd point that out

but yeah, keep posting, the portraits are already starting to look better!

Your work is so clean! I agree with Medusoid, more mediums - something messy. Ink or finger paint maybe?

Nice pencils studies! I like the clean style, but I think you could add more values to your drawings.

Some question in regard to head sketches.

What's your process? Do you put measurement line down and then you do the general form of the head and then put the features, all with carefully thought out straight line? How much time does this take you?

Do you very loosely sketch the head and then "ink" the process with straight line?

Do you use a loomis generic head and then adjust as you go along?

I just really like them. I feel they can capture a person's face fairly well.

    Hi there!

Great to see that much patience and work going into pencil studies and sketches. You think you should draw women more, and that may be a good idea; but I think rather than focusing on what, you ought to explore the how - experiment much more!

    Best wishes,

    Ana
