WuTang - ahh I just try to paint from life a lot and very rarely use black in my paintings I don't do too many photostudies...nothing except screen shots from films that I enjoy as color and composition studies...I should do more though.

Dave: the gestures are all done from life, and most all of the recent characters are too. The only reference I use are the model and the reference library in the ol noggin. As for your question about the GIF, Check out the disclaimer: I did NOT design Adventure Time! lol

just called in for a look around and I have to say that the kid sitting on his back pack is great, the gesture in that is spot on mate very well done! the palm tree on the beach is pretty good too.

I have a question though and that is, what is the story behind the cartoon network image from adventure time? have you done some work on it?
