I kept getting emails from this site telling me about the wonderful things happening on it. I finally checked what they were saying and loh and behold I believe the emails undersold just how wonderful they were.

I've just finished a four year art history degree and am off to Oxford to do more. However, drawing isn't exactly encouraged in an art history degree, so I've not been able to do much until this summer. The excellent work here, and generous community seem to invite any offering so I thought I would submit my own. Hopefully it will encourage me to draw more.

Great start on your sketchbook here. I look forward to seeing your continued progress. Just keep up those anatomy studies, you are starting in the right place. If you can master the human form, I believe that everything after that will come naturally.

Another site I might suggest is posemaniacs.com. This is a wonderful place to find models to draw from. I suggest going into the 30 sec timed drawing (change 30 to 60) then fill up page after page. It will feel meticulous at first, but after a while you will really start to feel like you are getting a lot out of it.
