Ameer and Flow's Bridgman based anatomy learning process

    Hey guys,

Ameer (QuickClawSamurai) and Flow (tasser) are starting through with bridgman studies.

QuickClawSamurai will first seek for a picture of his choice. The categories are the following:

    1 - Portrait
    2 - Full body drawing
    3 - dynamic drawing
4 - changed pose by imagination (of the dynamic drawing to test our improvements)

So now let's have fun guys.
    Hope you like the idea.

QuickClawSamurai starts with the first picture for a portrait.
Here we go for the stock photos: http://browse.deviantart.com/resources/stockart/model/

    Greetings,
    Flow and Ameer

    And it begins!!!

    Hey all, this is Ameer.

For the first picture, I chose this one:

    Muslimah

I felt that this provided really good close up and the expression gives it a sense of depth. Trying to convey that same emotion will be a task!

Hey Flow, if you were first, what you you have picked?

With that, let's have some fun!

Here is the pic here for those who don't wish to click on a link.

I'm done. Here is the ps post edited version (just 5 minutes, nothing special). At my sketchbook you can see my original version done with pencil (6B 2.0mm lead holder and 0.5mm HB mech pen). Original done in about 2 hours.

That's one of my main problems: the eyes are too big! That's always the thing. But we both had the deal NOT to learn more about anatomy of the face etc. before. That are the pictures we do now, like we're doing all those things I've written in post #1. Then we practice our bridgman stuff a few days each or a few weeks all together. And then we're doing new stuff, maybe the same ones again.

Anyway thank you for the demand for this thread. We'll do out best.

    Current Progress

Alrighty, here is my current progress! I might have killed it with my shading.

    Let me know.

    Enjoy!

Also keep in mind that this is our sketch without the knowledge of Bridgman in our arsenal. So it's like drawing blind. (Really, REALLY bad comparison.)

    Muslimah Part 2

Here is the painted version. Since I have no knowledge of painting and i tried my best, I omitted alot of detail as I felt that I ruined it already.

    Enjoy though!

holy sh*t! That's pretty hard for me. Tried it for more than an hour and I hate it. I'll try it again tomorrow until I get her nailed. Haha. Sound pretty gooood I think. Hope my girlfriend doesn't read that. Only a joke. I can't figure out that pose very good, don't know where my problem is. I'll get it!

I've been out of touch for a bit. I hate school prep but its important right? I'm back on my groove so expect something tomorrow! I hate to disappoint.
