Your studies are looking pretty solid, especially with the understanding of the head construction. Just try to work from life
and imagination and reference on a daily basis and you'll be making big strides. Keep up the great work!

Still working hard, eh? You're making good progress mate. Be sure to keep it up!

Loving the hand studies in particular, too. Hands are lovely things to draw though personally I mess them up whenever I do them unreffed.
    Take a look? - Sketchbook -

Also, why not check these guys too?

    Hey Ven!

Thanks for staying with me in my stream this evening!
    Studies are looking good.
Your heads still need a lot of practice. Especially when you look at your figures you see directly that heads are the weakest point.

    Keep practicing, dude!

@ lohes Come now, they aren't that many studies , there should be more! Over 9000!

Stuff going on in my life right now(School) To many Test in one weekend its not funny. Anyway, focusing on foreshortening right now, also im literally heading into digital more now But I can't decide I suck at heads and digital so which one do I work on more... How about both.

great stuff, your pencil studies are looking good
For digitals.. I think using layers would help in these sorts of cases where the object would look much nicer clean-cut from the bg. give it a try maybe?

Hosnaaaaaap! Look at you bustin ass over here!!
Gosh, you've done so much since I was last here, and the improvement is huge. Those studies are amazing. And your paintings from ref are great.

My advice, which im sure you've heard or already do, is to use more ref in your work from your imagination. What i do is do the rough, sketch it out on my own, then find ref after that can work with it. From multiple sources if needbe. Really does help, and will make your work stronger and stronger

Sorry if im saying stuff you already knoww!!

@ Alex Eh Oh thank you alex
@ lohes I'm just a pencil and paper junkie But I wont give up! Thanks lohes!
@ Kungfoowiz Head studies, darn. I gotta start hitting them harder ! Thanks bro
    @wasabi89 Thanks bro
@ cloudcan I found that just pouring the color on the canvas makes me less stress.. But I'll try adding layers for you
@SeageHosnaaaaaap, glad to have you back You're right , I gotta hit does ref !

Okay so not many studies but more imagination stuff. BWahaha that one dude with the bird head is the worse out of all of them. ( I drew it during math? Yah) Also I'm challenging some are students at my school to draw angels.

haha but layers only if you like them! My messy style used to hate layers for awhile but I gave in and they made many things much easier for me xD

Really like your figure work! very nice rhythm and action. But I don't think that's translating when you do the fantasy charas in armor. For the armored dudes: legs irl aren't straight! (I'm not talking about the armor! xD) Angel soldier girl has a bunch of problems that your figure work doesn't have at all! (like balance, curvature of spine, etc...) Imaginative drawings are fun but apply what you learned as well, that's the big payoff after all

Hey man, thanks for stopping by my SB.

I see a lot of studies and that's good.
However, I'd put even more effort into life studies, those hips up there look very narrow.

I have seen your work and you can do really good stuff, just push yourself to measure everything out and study every day

Loving those figure drawings. I've been thinking about getting one of those toned sketchbooks when I finish the one I'm currently working on. Are they worth it?

I say they are. I get to use white coloring pencil to really push out the drawing. Im also using cardboard, makes it easier to put the white on the surface.
