^ I want to make the new character forge challenge in CGHUB, so those are some random exploration sketches of the loa I chose.
I chose Marinette, the evil, she's supposed to be skeletical. I was going to choose Maman Brigitte (Baron Samedi's wife)but she's supposed to be european looking and I want to paint an african character instead ;P

the work in progress of the characterFORGE hnnnnngh I admit I have been lazy lately...

just a small update on the 3d horse, I have been addding more definition to the legs I hope they look more...realistic now, I still have to work more on them, and add hair chunks that are separate from the main masses, just so it looks a bit more natural :U

I want to start painting environments in watercolors on a regular basis, since I think that would help a lot with my digital environment paintings :s
These ones don't look very good, (I think I should work more on the values and 3d mensionality) but hopefully with time and practice I will really improve

Wow, the rabbit/humanoid painting is very good. I love the eyes, colour and texture. Probably that and the character you did on the last page I think it was are the best pieces I've saw you do, so you are definitely improving lately, keep it up .

You have been busy since I was here last matey, firstly thanks for the SB visit that was very kind of you.
I have to agree with the the above too that digiderp is not something I would want in the closet at the end of the bed seriously scary!!

The anatomy studies are pretty cool and the cartoons are great but I think the watercolours got my attention more than anything else mainly because I have never mastered them and you seem to be getting to grips with them rather well.

all in all there are some nice additions mate well done, all the best and keep posting

a wip, for the characterFORGE of CGHUB. Wer'e supposed to create a zombie for some game I've never played, but I'm still doing it anyways lol.
So my character is going to be Zombie Grandma :V
I've never seen any zombie grandmas in games.

the horse 3d model, I think I'm finally done with it and can now move on to the fun part: texturing yessssss.
I modeled the separate hair masses, fixed its head a bit, I turned its eyes into eye sockects and modeled the eyeballs separately. I also gave it a stand so it looks better presented.

here I'm just trying out some color combinations. I like this one, and i'll probably make more color variations, just because. Maybe I'll model vegetation for the stand so it doesn't look so meh.
