That last red room was on a good way I'd say.
Just put in more stuff so it looks more convincing.
A keyhole and a light switch for example.
On the left is free space, so maybe put a couch or some other furniture there, some boxes in the room, pictures, clothes or whatever.
And maybe take the door a little bit out of the corner.
Keep it up, I know interieur can suck a lot.
Good job on those studies
will123will, thank you! yes you;re totally right, that paintings doesn't really have any focus or interesting thing going on. I should pick my focus, or the thing I want to say and then go from there. Thank yuo for the crit!
shockowaffel, Thanks, and thanks for the crit! how could I forget something so basic as the light switch oh my! Yes interiors are quite boring, I must find something to make them interesting :/

I usually like to only return comments whenever anyone bothers to leave me one (keeps things simple) but I'm going to make an exception here.
I've seen you do a fantastic job painting folds of paper and other small still life objects, but I have wondered how much you are really learning from doing such isolated objects, and if it wouldn't have been better to have more objects overlapping and casting reflected light on each other.
Then I saw your attempts at interiors and landscapes, and I think they are your weakest pieces. The biggest shapes in them are mostly boring walls, with far too few separate elements, like the masks on the wall, or the fossils.
I think you need to practice doing thumbnails of interesting compositions with big shapes and filling out the details once you find something you like.
Hey, haven't been on here for a while so I thought I would come and comment. Firstly, I would have to agree with the above guy on your composition and subject matter could be
better, also in your latest post the heads of the characters seem to small making the bodies look really long. However, your paintings and other sketches are looking really good, great colour, form and control of the gradations. So all my crit would really be is rather than only thinking about painting a finished piece really well think about what you are painting, the composition of what you are painting and leading the viewers eye etc.

The Environment-study with the whale is awesome. Very nice sketchbook.
ooh the cartoonish pieces are really charming!good result!
Hey there, I think you are doing a very nice job man. I especially like the concept of your last environment. Gives an epic feeling somehow, however I think there is a way to make your composition a bit stronger if you place your object of interest more to the middle or a bit more to the right. I also like how you blended your ezio with the background half along the way. What kind of brush you are using there?
Cheers!
Freaking love the Ezio painting you did with the field background, your landscapes are so good. The last post really has a lot of good paintings, keep it up.

Klaustrophil, Thank you!it's a plesiosaur
nim, ohh thank you! Cx
Tails, Thank you! C: ah yes, composition is something I'm struggling with, but I've started reading "Drawing Scenery" by Jack Hamm and taking notes, so hopefully the next ones would look compositionally better x_X
For that Ezio I used the regular square brush, I used the hard round brush too, and I also applied a phototexture of a wall that had squares in it as well.
will123will, Thank you C: I've been reading on composition so hopefully the next landscapess would look better in that aspect.
