You can choose HP Printer 1007 is very effective and reliable. It has nice features and functions so there is no problem to use it. Also, its price is affordable and it does not take more space to put it. So, I always prefer it.

The real questions we should be asking Charles are:

Inkjet or Laser?

Do your need color?

What is your volume of printing?

How much color do you print?

What is your budget for this project?

I use a wide format epson photo stylus printer (ink jet) for my mass prints both small and large scales, for all my B&W and coloured print works. I would have gotten laser but most around are B&W and those that do color were way out of my budget (also think of cartrige fuel budget). Laser can last longer sometimes than inkjet but can be costly. Also there isn't much availability in wide format laser machines so I went with inkjet which suits me well for my work.

If you want to buy new printer then get HP printer. It is easy to install, and do not waste ink like canon and other brands. You can't go wrong as far as reliability is concerned either. It is sturdy and fast to print.

After over a decade of HPs grinding away, getting locked up, and having general problems, I picked up a Canon MP560 and have loved it ever since. The ink is expensive but I haven't felt it used it up quickly.

I haven't had any hiccups, lockups, or technical problems - it's been smooth sailing for over a year. It's also a very self-contained unit, my last HP couldn't close the paper tray with paper in it, this one keeps the paper underneath in a pull-out tray and the tray paper is spit on to can be kept closed as it will open automatically before printing.

I'm certainly never going to go back to HP, my experiences with the last several HP printers I had was abominable - they were always breaking down or getting confused and having all sorts of difficulties.

I would say HP would be the best brand... You can just check what model would suit your needs...

I would recommend a kodak printer, they have some nice contrast settings. The downside, they use a LOT of fu**ing ink(especially color) so print carefully.
