Well first off, my name is Ricardo Brown, and I've been lurking on the forums for a while now. But I think it's about time for me to start a sketchbook thread here as well.

Any critiques and comments are always welcome. I love to receive critiques from other artists and to find out anything I can do to help myself get better.

I'll try to update this as often as I can with new sketches, and finished illustrations I've been doing to improve my portfolio and grow as an artist.

Good start right here man. You have a good grasp on proportions and anatomy but you may want to practice on facial features. They look a little unnatural right now. Just give it a little try and do some portrait exercises. (another sephiroth fan here btw, he's great.)

Great start to the sketchbook!

Totally loving that back piece...(I believe it's the character I use in Marvel vs. Capcom all the time, but that might not be it. He looks familiar, though.) I believe the lines are a little off so it looks like different parts of his body are from different perspectives, but the dramatization is great and I love that you can't see his face. Makes him look cool.

Anyways, good stuff! The pencils are great, and I'd love to see some more colored pieces.
