Despite the giant is synonymous with strength, I wanted to give a feeling of loneliness, old age, instability,fatigue ...
...is the end of two trips.
The journey of the explorer in search of the giant, and the journey of life of the giant ...
almost as if the two seek each other
About 5 ours of work, digital painted with corel photopaint and wacom tablet

Nice work, I really like the eyes on the zombie and the textures and foreground in the second.

Cool stuff! I like the sense of depth in the second piece. My only gripe with it is that the man in the foreground isn't standing perpendicular to the ground. Fixing that might make the slanted horizon line look a bit too slanted though, so if it were me I'd just make that horizon line a little less slanted. Really like it though

Hi all
Here an update with a recent matte..
Some time ago during a surf on the Internet I found an incredible article about a Wooden Skyscraper located in Russia.
The Gangster Wood House is located in Arkhangelsk and it's believed to be the world's tallest wooden house. With its 13 floors reaches 144 feet
I collected some pictures of it on my pc waiting to use it in a drawing or mattepainting.
Here is the end result

This image was made for the cover of the book "An opulent tableau of essence," a beautiful collection of poems and illustrations.
I was certainly inspired by the great Klimt.
The basic design is created in pencil, and then digitally colored and painted.
