Nice job on batman!
A little bit of nitpicking, his knee area could have used a little more clarity!
The endless road awaits us brother!

judging by the studies for the next batman image... medieval version in the making?i think a break would be nice-- especially with that much invested time in the master study. you're doing great adam!

Good work!!!
c-bro: thank you!
j-bro: theme song for my life!
I had an impromptu rest-week this week, it helped me clear my head and deal with some built up stress.
I have scraped the batman i was working on, I realised I was failing one of my main goals with this series, applying a good process.
so I am going to start from scratch after I get to a couple of the things I've been thinking of while gritting my teeth on this batman.
here are some drawings based on Scott Robertson demos,
and some pages from my sketchbook.

Keep on fighting Bro!
I like the Robertson stuff!
I also like you're taking a step back to do the batman pieces how you want and not just how you can, if that make sense.
I am also seriously falling behind with the youtubes! sorry!
It's time to make the future great!
May Strength Be Kind and Courage GentlePrinces of the Universe
j-bro: I want to be the very best!, like those other guys. thank you.
c-bro: that is what I was getting at. thank you.
so, my main study project is still life drawing.
I am starting with boxes and will move on to round stuff and groups in due course.
i am also working on a short comic, it'll be about 3 pages long.
I have written out a draft script and am now thumbnailing to figure it all out.
and here are some of my sketchbook pages from the past week.

Your inked and painted work looks good. Nice solid, confident lines with the inking. Try to vary the linework a bit more. I like the areas of solid blacks. The pencil sketches are coming along although they don't stand out as much. You've usually got a good sense of gesture lines but sometimes it appears to get mushy. Keep at it though.
Bro let tell you something, you are the Real American!!

Ccs-bro: thanks for the crit, valid points, especially on the mushiness.
J-bro: as an american i want to say thank you and god bless you and god bless america!
C-bro: thank you, I will!
Volume was down but overall quality(or at least positivity) was up.
Couldn't convey the texture on this little box, the second one is the closer of the two.
next few still lifes will be some old books.
the mountain study is from a photo, done after studying some moebius.
this illo sketch is from the same story as my short comic.
and the e.h shepard master study is from wind in the willows.

You blow me away!
The dinosaur in the dr who sketch looks like he's running away as well, dr who with a t rex as a companion I don't think would work very well![]()

Thanks for the comment and the article! Your studies are looking good. Maybe try some more ambitious studies, like using a whole page of your sketchbook for one study. Sorry I don't have much useful to say, but it seems to me you're doing everything right!
And uh, I'll just put this here in accordance with tradition.
J-bro: Danke.
C-bro: *wink* *thumbs-up*
V-bro: thank you.
I'm tired from mowing...
so this week, i got a few things done but i have found i need to be more specific with what i want to get done in order to get as much done as i want to get done... here are some pictures.
