    No worries. I'm in the same boat as you, hahaha. I would recommend starting off by doing still lives or photo studies of simple objects in colour. Like an apple, since they are pretty easy to get. Heck, any colourful fruit or veggie would work. Together or single.

    Just looked through your whole thread and have been inspired. Like others have said, I like how the drawings are constructed - they feel quite solid. I really like your tonal work too, both pencil and painting.

    Also earlier in the thread you wrote about aligning facial features with triangles. I was not aware of these guides/rules/whateveryouwanttorefertothemas and will keep them in mind to try out on my own.

    Loving your 3D works, definitely looking forward to seeing some more digitals. Your sketches could do better though, you seem to use a lot of thick, angular lines and repeat them in place. Try some flowing curves as well, and try to use a few efficient clear defining lines rather than multiple attempts to get it right. It can boost your confidence and create more dynamic works

    @ Tundra

    inspired? good for you man, but ive been a lazy bum lately, lol, but thanks anyway

    @cloudcan

    yeah, ive been working on being more economic with my linework lately, and i usually add in curves after i block in with straight lines.

    some anatomy studies, trying to figure how i can construct the arm by attaching major muscles one at a time

    life drawing, all poses were like 20-15 minutes, first one lasted like 1 minute since i came late

    focused on the legs for this one since i really need practice with those

    thumbnail for a t shirt design, it's gonna have a ninja, a robed samurai, a armored samurai, ghengis khan, and attilla the hun in it. with "death by asians" at the bottom, cause im asian myself. getting variety in pov, pose, and getting those to match their characteristics perfectly seems impossible so im just gonna settle for this. i also plan using on b&w caligraphic look. and there's gonna be dragon's head at the apex of the triangle. right now im working on sowing clothes for them and making a maquette of the samurai.

    Your figure drawings are lookng strong! ... and I'd recognize Vince anywhere.

    So you're a Barnstone alum? There are a few of us around here. When did you start studying with him, if you have?

    Either you're a Barnstone guy, or as John says, you've at least drawn Vince in some life drawing session somewhere in Eastern P.A.

    Good work; I like your approach. You're inspiring me to get back in gear. Thanks.

    @jpacer and p sage

    Actually no, I'm from LVPA, which I just graduated. It's in bethlehem and is pretty close, I know a couple of friends in my art class who went and are going to Barnstone, my painting teacher went there once too.

    And I'm guessing Vince is the really skinny, robert simmons looking fellow? XD I don't really know, although used to go alot of figure drawing sessions at Lafayette and in Allentown. I'm going to resume going there weekly soon. Do you guys still go there? Maybe I crossed paths with you one once.

    Anywho, MASSIVE UPDATE:

    I just checked out the LVPA website and if your teacher is Roger Brinker, then, yes, he has spent many many many years (decades) with Barnstone. He was always a regular in the Figure Drawing classes. You'll learn a lot from him. Is he your sculpting teacher, too? You sculptures remind me of his in the way the planes are articulated.

    Great stuff!

    The last 5 drawings in post 70 look like Vince.

    @jpacer

    Actually my painting teacher was Lorie Reinhard. Roger Brinker was my sculpting teacher. And I'm guessing you could recognize Vince from his concave-ish ribcage.
