Good stuff. Since you want a critique, let me say that -for me- everything is a little too saturated

I agree with lennon.
I'm a big fan of crazy colors but if everything is extremely saturated it's a bit harsh on the eyes.
Also, putting grayer colors next to saturated colors will make the saturated colors pop more.
awesome updates really diggin the enviros
Really cool envrionments!
I love these peeps.
There is no shadows on the snow. So it's difficult to say if this is a closed room or a wall. Beside in places where those light paths hit you should have brighter values. So you need to darken the snow, cuz right now you don't have any value range on this snowy floor.
wow man, your stuff looks really cool, its a rather unusual style, id like to see how it turns out if you take a different approach to finishing an image in a smooth rendering kinda way

Looks cool though i think that you should bring out the statues a bit more, to make them more vivid.
Keep up with the great work.

Another very interesting update. It's hard to giving crits to you, cuz your pieces are so sketchy. But I'll try. This guy with head set on fire has to stiff pose. I think that those hands makes him look a little paralyzed. Still it's hard to see space in your paintings. The first one is an exception. Sometimes it's better to add some atmosphere even if spaces between objects are relatively small. You need to experiment with that
. As always I like your palette, and those random shapes that makes your paintings so messy. Keep working
.
This post is devoted to the future birthday of member Creusa. Congratulations to the newborn are accepted on August, 10th!

yeah - as I wrote in the chat it might even be better to go a bit crazy and then start to tone it down instead of being careful and petite early on.
I really like the Lioness, and well you do seem to have started to control the pieces more as of late (and do keep the energy).
SB. p31 updated 25.04.2012.
hey there n1frit! totally enjoying your expressive brush strokes-- they sort of have this sporadic quality which i think gives your pieces so much energygosh... i wish i had something to crit on but i guess just to do more studies (which i'm sure you do-- just not posting them
)
keep painting and keep being awesome! :3

This kitty is bad ass. I love everything about this painting, the colour variation, palette you used, the details and of course this sketchy feel. Good stuff.
Fantastic artwork, I really love your use of color to set the tone of your pictures. I especially like your last piece with the cat, it's very cool! If I may (and I apologize if people frequently ask you this), do you use any sort of specialized brush when you paint digitally? Other than a round one, I mean.
Todays update!
dan liimatta In that way i give myself more space for thoughts and ideas.
teapo Thanks for kind words man! I try to do moooore studies)
Fallenangel Спасибо! Эта киска заставила меня попотень и понервничать!)))
Zolerit Дуже лінива скеч-машина)) Доречі я закохався в останню дівчину що ті намалювала)
Syle This cat is satiated)) Thanks man!)
StenliFor me is no difference) If i have nice idea i paint it, if i see nice photo i use it as ref. More important the result, the thought witch u can bring to spectator. The dynamic and the mood of scene. Also i try combine and interpretate all material witch i see, ref my imagination thoughts of other people)What makes you improve more (or fast) studing from reff or from imagination or some other way?
NickyBeats Thanks!!
Liberty I hope she like it) She is lion too)
Ramalooke One good work from one million unsuccessful))
Sara Dean Yes i use it. Actually no matter what brush are u use. In bigger diameters u will see difference, and as diameter become smaller for detail ur brushs form will be aspire to circle or point. In sketch stage i use some crazy brushes and textures and then i use round or chalk brush of small size to detail. Experiments with brushes is good exersice)

The sense of movement you've captured with the water in the environment pic is really simple but effective.
I am amazed on the way you painted that kitty, I rally like it.
you have some good works but i think you need to work on color. your colors are too saturated. it hurts the eye since the saturation is all over the image like in the tree picture in the previous page.
