BBDO Germany CannesLions, Adidas world cup and more, even more!!

Finally! The Cannes Lions are here! Which means I can finally show the picture I did for BBDO Germany a few months back to represent them in a few categories.
*yes, I am quite excited* Hope it wins something!

This one was a loooad of fun to do. And I had a great art director, Daniel Aykurt, on the other side to work with.

Did some small touch ups after the portfolio review comments from Jon Foster, Jason Manley and Dorian Iten. Thanks for those!

Anyhow here's the stuff and because I love those myself, some closeups.

Any comments and critiques are welcome of course.

    Cheers,
    David Smit

    Closeups!

I worked on a massive project for Adidas (I made like 22 of these guys. Based on photo's). For the WorldCup campaign.

W!Games, some other companies and personal stuff.

Wow serious cool! Glorious work and so versatile. I see that I am going to have to make some serious coin so I can buy one !! The chick straddling the rotary gun? is outrageous, love it...................

Absolutly love the cat-snack factory, you created a whole world there. It would be a great illustration for a kids book. As just a big kid, I could get lost for hours in that picture. All your other stuff is great too, the 50 cal. crotch killer is very noteworthy as well. Excellent stuff, give yourself a pat on the back, but be careful not to hurt your paint arm, keep it coming.

ghoulio: Harmony rocks eh! Thanks a lot man.
Metal Fingers: haha Glad you like it!
    thegrayslayer: thanks!
Waipunga: haha, yeah that started out as a joke. Make something as cliche as possible but still sexy...
    SusanMart: Merci!
Mah ' Crub: Thanks a lot man. I would love to illustrate child book in that style! Oh man.. that be cool.!

Anyhow, here's another one. Just got permission to show it. An illustration done for W!Games for the Mistbound universe.
    Hope you like it!

    Cheers,

Hey man, I've been watching your work for some time and I have to say you keep impressing me with every update I see.

That adidas image is stunning, but your personal work looks like a lot more fun to be working on. Keep m coming man!
