Need help with anatomy and perspective : )

Sooooo. I am back, after a few weeks of being away. I've been busy drawing things for my portfolio for my university interviews, I had my first one yesterday and they offered me a place on their illustration course : ) I don't think it' sunk in yet.

Anyway! I am here because once again I am having problems, not just with anatomy but perspective as well. Yessss. If any of you can help, I am more than happy if you would like to draw over my work and show me where I'm going wrong, or just write it out.

I bought an anatomy book about a week ago on figure drawing, and I've been working with it, but I'm still in the early stages (and drawing skeletons). So please, if you can help, I would really appreciate it. Thanks! <3

EDIT: Sorry, forgot to mention, all the tentacles belong to the guy on the left, my merman Topaz. Topaz is really bendy because of his upbringing, so he's pretty flexible, whereas Acheron, on the right, isn't.

It's not really clear to me what's going on in this image. Are all the tentacles coming from the one fishy person? I would clarify that if so.
The fishy person seems too unnaturally bent right now, like he/she is made of rubber. I'd bring the bum closer to the torso to fix that some.
Aside from that tricky anatomy, I'd say your face anatomy could use lots of work, especially in terms of placement of the face elements. On both their faces, both eyes and mouths should be pulled closer (vertically) to the nose.

    Good luck with your school!

Ah, yes, sorry : ) All the tantacles belong to my Merman on the left. He's also really bendy, I should have added that too, but I can see what you mean so I'll move his bum. The faces I'd planned to fix later after I got the bigger anatomy down, hahah, when sketching faces old habits die hard, it's just recently that I fix them properly, just before I ink.

Thank you for the help, and thanks for the luck ^^ I'm probably gonna' need it hahah <3

Okay, so I've changed it a bit, fixed a bit of the anatomy, especially their faces. Mostly tried to fix the composition with the tantacles. Uuuhm, so yeah, any help would be really appreciated, thank you <3

The way the Octopus-man's back is bent looks like it would break his spine, maybe watch some gymnastics videos or something to help with it. I tried to find a similar reference but I couldnt =(
