    Today June 10th

Yesterday on my morning jog I witnessed a turtle laying its eggs!! On the side of the road =\ you'd think they want more privacy or something.

And I got inspired to do a drawing of a snail. Its called "They don't build homes like they used to'' I used my dads sand castle as a reference

Thank you for watching =D I did draw it on the side of the road! Its a very slow moving creature so it stayed put for me which I appreciate.

Wow sis, how did you make those colours? It's really cool, especially the girl's face in the first post (is it you? Hehe )

As from what I see, you have strong and flowing lines that show your confidence. It's pleasing to see your figure drawings

And that snail's very funny too! Nice concept
(btw, your dad's sandcastle? Is your dad a sandcastle artist? Hehehe...)

    Fruit post

Just a buncha fruits! I swear, hardest thing I could do. Trying not to eat those fruits was torture. One is in guache, one is in coloured pencils that I did when I was 16, and the others are oil!

Thanks Tizzy and Mawh!! I appreciate it a lot =)

Love your colour palette, really vibrant and expressive. Your life drawings also carry alot of weight, and the snail castle was just awesome. Really enjoyable work~ can't wait to see more : D

The first one has a strange left shoulder, but anyway ! Nice feet and hands. You render the skin very well with these colour combinations, it gives a lot of volume. Keep drawing

Hey. You are right about the shoulder. I fixed it on the original, I'm always afraid to retouch observational drawings!

Sarbro! I think the main thing anyone can learn from my stuff is to back and forth between extremes and subtle details. Both will help each other to train your eye to see something new ; )

Pamzie, each drawing in post #1 is beautiful. I really love your line flow, it's so gentle, so soft, and at the same time so strong to define a figure. Just great! Keep it up, cheers.

Art is the only means of living and existing through this hellish nightmare. Your art is good. The colours and all. How often do you practice? Will you make this your career or will you just keep this as a hobby?

Thank you Ivan!! It means a lot coming from someone as talented as yourself =D

Nefphlegm, I hear you. I do art as a way of life. Pretty much instead of life for the last while lol I hope it helps me make a living later! And everything is pastel ! except the fruits and some pencil drawings.

Thanks Tom Fenton! Your art inspires me too! I love colors, colors in your work blows my mind.

Those are my hands and feet! Self portraits for sure.

Haven t posted in a while! I've been super busy with work =) I need to save money for Europe so I am welcoming my new managers lack of organization and letting him schedule me overtime. I kind of get all sad because I can't draw as much at home, but I am still drawing people at work and will post them when I get enough good ones =D For now, here is something I did a while ago and just looked at it again recently. And I kind of like it.

Also! I am preparing for a little show called art in the park in Ottawa's strathcona park on August 7th =D Im going to do peoples portraits in colour pastel all day. It is going to be soooo much fun.
