Made this within the last hour.

Question for anyone that wants to throw a tip my way. What resolution is good for still lives where the artist has to get into the fine details. I found that I couldn't get within the groves of the lid without messing with other aspects of the piece. I painted this 2500 x 2500 pixels, it could be that I just painted it too small.

Wait, that is probably it. Yeah.

Anyway...any council would be appreciated.

Late night baby picture speed paint. I plan on finishing this one, I need to work on portraits, and color theory, and proportion, and shading...

I'm trying to study LINRAN's Light and Color study. When using the Color Palet bars, I can subconsciously feel a change in how my brain feels when I choose a color in comparison to just shooting for a darker color with the Color Picker. It makes it warm, mmmmm.

Uploaded is working finally haha. Some hour still lives I did a couple of days back. I can see what I did wrong, I worked on detail when I should have gotten the large portions in first. Big to small, I have to put that up on my wall somewhere. Gunna post some more.

I've decided that just focusing and getting frustrated on one piece will burn you out. If its a stress killer if you have a few side projects if you don't have the ability to finish a piece straight up. I find I learn a lot better if I have a different plethora of problems to consider. Because when I solve one, it might be the answer to another on another piece that frustrates me.

I need to find a good way to put my figure drawing class drawings on here without taking photos which is the easiest way right now.

These are the last of my figure drawing class drawings, there are a few more. But they where sketched so lightly that they don't show well with a camera. I need a scanner, I really need a scanner.

The rest of these are doodles. Then there are some choice sketches of my zoo trip, some life drawings of a toddler soccer game I baby sat for, and some still lives from a college course I took.

Funny thing is, I passed that class with an A doing really good drawings and not turning one thing of homework in. Freaking pimp.

This one includes a tattoo design I did for a buddy. The guy that did it said it didn't look good, he said it was unrealistic or some shit. Damn it, I used reference of jumping sharks. I looked at my friends finished tattoo and it freaking sucked compared to mine, whatever.

I also decided to stay out of the W.I.P section for a while, besides adding my own two cents. Ill just post what I'm working on in here, no one has to feel obligated to critique and stuff.

I kinda disappointed myself in my figure drawing group this time. I'm applying line weight, which is great for lighter values. But I need to study measurements, which I thought was a boring and unnecessary part before tonight. Now I know that measurements are important for proportions and likeness. Ill have to do some photo studies to practice this skill.

Just to let the few that read this know that all three pictures are the same woman, just goes to show how unnaccurate I am. But I'm forever determined.
