    Hi, Pixel Cheetah!

Thanks for taking a look at my sketchbook.

I really like your style! Especially how you shade. You make all your figures look really alive. Your Bridgman studies are coming along really well. The animals that you draw are great too! I especially like the one that's leaping. Post more!

I love those animal anatomy sketches! gesture and hand studies also look nice. Don't stop pushing those faces - they are somehow less elegant and simple (and structured) than your animal sketches.

Those crabs are quite cool, is it India ink? And did you paint them all with the same brush?

Hi Scale, it is a Koh-I-noor drawing ink, and yes I did them with the same brush.

I actually wrote a long post to my blog recently (check my profile for a link) about Bridgman studies. I'm a really big believer in using Bridgman as a sort of rosetta stone to the simple mechanics of the body... particularly in relation to the issue of balance/gravity. Most people focus on the anatomy parts in Bridgman but I think the best stuff can be learned from his full figure drawings because the artist will rarely have occasion to draw just a single limb or muscle grouping.

    Best,
    Jason.
