MBK: Och, cheers mate! And don't you worry, I'd never quit. Couldn't if I tried.
Zeich: Got to love watercolours. And more studies never do anyone any harm, they're actually fun once you get into them, aren't they?

Yeeeah, that's what I like to see! Those studies are looking pretty badass.
I particularly like that elderly Gavat lady.

I should play around with watercolors again. Just for the fun of it. I agree, studies are a lot of fun. Your latest ones are awesome, all of them.
Uh, just quickly came to say my laptop looks like it's broken.
I swear the month of July is cursed. Last time my laptop broke was near my birthday too.
Not in the best of moods right now, but I'll do replies whilst I'm here.
Clur: Cheers, mate. I found some interesting link the other day...Which I now don't have, since I'm on my grandad's. Uh. No idea how to find it again. BUT it was full of really nice photos of asian people all sorts of ages and in all sorts of lighting, very useful if you're trying to get to grasps with racial characteristics.
Grey: Will do!
Zeich: Ah, it'd be great if you did, I'm surprised everyone isn't spamming watercolours, they're so fun to use. And cheers for the kind words, mate.
Darn tech toys. I hope you'll be able to get it replaced soon. I wouldn't know what to do without my laptop.
Is that some Mucha I see there? nice job, there is a lot to learn from the masters!
I like the life drawings, they have some nice character to them. I espacialy like the cow staring at the horse drawing.
Keep at it and I hope you sort out your computer troubles
Also watch the width of the side view on your proposition drawing.
P.S. best wishes for your B-Day![]()
May Strength Be Kind and Courage GentlePrinces of the Universe
I remember when I was a child, we found
a man, he lived down in my street, we found
him in the corn fields mangled and dehumanized.
His internal organs were all around him in the field.
They said that it was an animal what did that horrible
deed. Actually it was a half animal half beast, with the
beast part stronger than the animal part. That half beast
half animal showed up every fourth summer when the weather
was the hottest. It was eating up the corn and was terrorizing
the youth around. The guy that I was talking about above, was
after molested by a drunk soccer team as they were going home
after a lost tournament. What a horrible, horrible story, I still
lock my doors and windows when the weather is hot.
This has nothing to do with your art, but I thought I would
share, cause you are one of my very best best friend. You
always here to cheer me up and you make me to feel like
Fred Krueger felt before he was burnt to crisps.
You are improving. Yes, yes, you are improving fast, and
I like how you managed to scan and get the right contrast
on your drawings. It makes a fascinating difference.
Oh, and when you draw those attractive legs, I just
cannot resist than to hop around my newly built mini steam stove.
They use to say that there can be only one. So if there will
be only one, then you will be that one.
The only one who can be is you. Only you.
YES.
Oh glory, a day before my birthday and my laptop's been mended.
REPLIES:
Zeich: Luckily for me I got to borrow my grandad's, so it wasn't unbearable. But yes, it wasn't fun. I didn't have access to my art books or anything.
Bruce: Cheers, mate! You're spot on that there's a mucha up there, the man's a legend. Lol, those bloody animals wouldn't stop moving, but it's all good practice, eh? I know I've still got a way to go but I'll keep on practicing (and I'll be keeping an eye on my side views, I never get them right)
Plissken: Oh Plissken, you are a ray of sunshine. It is good to see you about and thank you for the kind words.
Now, I have the horrid feeling the file's too big to upload.
Ugh. It is.
Fuck dis. Gonna link DA in the mean time.

EDIT:
OKAY
had to cut it up but here it is. There was more, but I cannot be arsed.
Also, all these pics are non-reff, pretty obvious anyways, tbh. LOOK AT DEM BODIES. DEM HANDS.

Wow, what a big bunch of updates. The costume designs are great.
Is there a way to fix your laptop or are your files gone forever? Since my Mac decided to play havoc shortly before my end of term assignment was due, I update frequently. You can never have enough HDD space.
Lovely drawings, you are doing great![]()
YEAHHH even on my birthday I was drawing. LIKE A BOSS.
Today I went and bought fuck-loads of sketchbooks because shit is so SO cheap in Ireland, u jelly?
Zeich: thankfully everything on my laptop went undamaged, it just needed a new powerpack. Thank god. I did not savour the thought of having to rewrite what I have or recollect my reffs. I had something like that happen last year, so I can sympathise.
Zolerit: Cheers, mate!
I'm glad you notebook situation got cleared without wrecking your bank account.
Naiiiddyyyy, long time no talk!Glad to see you are still arting.
Your faces are lovely as always, and Im glad to see more and more fully rendered bodies.
Hey Naidy, great stuff! Your portraits are the best; even the unreffed ones that are a tad wonky have a lot of character and personality. I especially like the old woman in post #1461. Wonderful! The amount of studies you do is really inspiring to a lazy bum like me, lol. Sorry, I don't have any crits for you; just keep up the good work! ^^
Sketchbook * Deviantart * Twitter * Google+
Zeich: It was a big relief, definitely. xD
Feathered Face: Eyyyy, you! Nice to see you again 'pon my humble sketchbook.Yes, I'm pushing myself to do more bodies and even some shitty scenery too, when the urge calls.
Dierat: Oh lord, you've given me a big reminder to study faces. I know I get mouths and jaws often lopsided/misaligned. I'm definitely going to iron out my bad habits/common errors. Cheers for the comment!
Only a small lot today, buggered up a Napoleon study so I was all "FUCK DIS. IMMA NUKE THIS WITH GODDAMN COLOURS" I got some head studies in progress, but I won't upload till I've got a few pages, since they're not looking too great yet.
Haven't updated lately due to the fact half the stuff I'm drawing's shite and it's a little difficult to upload pictures lately. But here's what I've scrounged together today.
Great studies! Nice use of backlight in post#1472.
Thanks, mate! That one was pretty fun.

Wonderful studies, Naidy. And the expressions on the last sheet are just beautiful.
Och, thanks mate! Those last pictures are much bigger than I usually draw. Thought I'd challenge myself.
Now, there's a lot of errors in this next post. The one's I can see are as follows;
-Arms/hands
-Figures in distance and next to Aisling
-floating head
-Need to plan out everyone's clothes
-Eye placement on second profile
-NO REFF. WHY AM I DOING THIS WITH NO REFF?
Anyways, it'd help me a lot if you fair people could help me pick out any more faults.
EDIT: Is anyone else noticing an unerving resemblence to a certain meme? Especially with the middle guy.

ok. I see all 50 pages and AMAZING
inspirant, real. Love your improve. Congratulations =D
Och, thank you for the kind words! I still have a long, long, long way to go but I'm glad of any progress.
Not feeling too good lately, but I'll be damned if I go a day without drawing. I'll kick myself into gear soon enough.
I do love your characters, esp the full page one (the one where it looks like they are charging into battle - I do like the female character (the one with the helmet) - so full of expression.
Cheers, Steve. I'm glad you like it! Still got a way while to go with that picture though. xD
Here's some small progress on my head studies whilst I'm here. Got other pictures too, but I forgot where they are. I'll upload them later if I ever remember.

And thanks for the frequent visits to my sketchbook, keeps me goin yo'
Yo! Good morning
(pictures coming up later, when I can be arsed to upload them)
Cheers, tron! Oh, mate. I wouldn't hold it against you at all! Infact I advocate using the glorious flip whenever possible. Fun AND helps me notice errors easier so that I can cringe at works after the upload
Oh mannn, my work ethic isn't that good. Consider the fact I never sleep AND have no social life/job. If anything, I could fit in MUCH more if I tried. But anyways, cheers for the kind words.
PFFFT. I wouldn't look at your sketchbook if I didn't like it. Really. I wouldn't.And thanks for the frequent visits to my sketchbook, keeps me goin yo'
Now. I've been up since 4am. Going to finish my studies and stop myself rambling. Cheers again! Aha

Lovely updates as usual. The last one looks quite interesting. Is it digital?
