that's quite a fancy shmancy pencil extender u got there bruce (ok that sounds weird huh?) haha. studies are coming along nicely and i like the nice simplistic illustration you did of the jars in the forest. for some reason i'm reminded of winnie the pooh when i look at it. haha xD
oh-- and happy belated birthday! keep posting!!

The amount of sketches posted in here is staggering. It's also good to see trying different techniques. Keep it up, man![]()
Just had to wait a good 5 minutes to load up all your posts bruce! huuge dedication and your piece worked out great! What i love looking here is that a cat or a dog always manages to sneak its way in to your studies haha your obsessed man, keep up the motivation MOAR CATS! MOAR ANATOMY!
adamsimons: How 'bout no
AChipps: I understand what you're saying and I agree. I like what you said about the life drawing helping with perspective. Thanks for taking the time to write all that, will definitely have to think about it.
JamesSimons: Wouldn't dream about it
teapo: Thank you!
Farvus: Will do!
fudgeloaf: Thank you and sorry about the load timeMeow
Just the weeks sketches. Have to decide what to work on to improve!

Good 'eavens! Look at them sketches!
You're showing a good understanding of the body in a lot of them, some nice movement in most of them too.
No crits from me, I'm afraid. Just draw more. xD
Rabbit man rocks bruce! your figures are coming on nicely but theyre just the beginning, i notice your head sizes are often too big or too small or you could focus on figures in perspective if you dont wanna delve into colour yet. Keep it up man develop the rabbit!
Just Call Me Bruce!:Nice update!
JamesSimons: More Moustache
adamsimons: And manlier, the hair I mean.
Jeremy Swan: Will do
Jason Scanlon: Thank you, I will be trying to do something with the rabbit
art1488: Thank you? I'm not quite sure what you more.
teapo: Hmm... Colour is certainly a beast I plan to tackle soon. maybe a little in my current project to get me started
Naidy: Will double do
fudgeloaf: Heads, one of my greatest enemies and something I need to put some serious study into. The rabbit I'm going to try turn it into a robot first, Then see what happens from there.
The more weekly then james' weekly, weekly tube!

adamsimons&JamesSimons: Nice on!
teapo:
I've been working on my frog robot this week. But working in digital, for me is like being a really slow turtle.
I have also been playing with something James Gurney(if you don't go to his blog, I recommend you do!) said in an interview he did at CharacterDesignInterviews about looking at reference but drawing from your mind/imagination, a bit like a memory drawing.
The progress on the frog robot!
The sketches!

good job with increasing your work rate!
the robot is your best digital work to date
the saturation on the Enfield is a bit high and it would be cool to see the logo currently hidden on the robots shoulder
hey there bruce~ the rendering on the robo dog is promisinghope to see the finished concept soon. i'm noticing some MGS inspired elements in it :3 that's awesome! (or maybe that's just me?? haha)

Frog bot is looking damn fine bruce! I also see some MGS inspiration reminds me of the gecko's although more loveable ofcourse haha, no crits on the studies from me your lines are getting a lot better though and understanding of form ofcourse![]()
thanks for commenting on my page man, keep rockin out those studies.
just had a thought about your robots, maybe if you made part of the head like an old school scuba helmet (but more futuristic to keep everything in the same vibe) then you could see Mr Frog's face. Apart from that the robots look flipping awesome, i totally get the Evangelion/Ghost 'na Shell/Metal Gear vibe ha ha. keep developing it!

JamesSimons: *hold on to the vision in your eyes!*
adamsimons:better? maybe, easy right maybe!
teapo: Rendering on the *Frog*robot looks promising you say, why thank you. It's not just you, the MGS inspiration is intentional! Thanks!
fudgeloaf:Thank you, sir!
Joce: Thanks! *kindly points to the right SB to thank*
Jeremy Swan:Thanks for the suggestion, not something I thought of. I saw this like the day after I read your suggestion and took it as a sign! lol. Might have made it a bit to busy.
*Rena*: Danke Schön!
The Frog robot is finished! I'm pleased with it, it's not perfect but it's all I had at the time![]()
Here's it at 100%. (I'm quietly quite happy with how the roll at the end of the cloth came out)
A photo study. Need to work on colour and not smooth to early!

And now you know!!
theres a lot to like abou this chap
http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1303006755
the creepy eva hands, the bonkers mix of sgt frog with WW1, the old fashioned enfield, the heavily armoured cockpit/head, yep i like it a lot.
you could do an amazing image of froggobots in the trenches or in the mud and wire of the somme.
or maybe have the trenches on the surface of an asteroid. or something!
