Can sketchup be used for creature creation's? If so can I see some example's, if not can someone point me torward's the right program for this( I use linux which should help ) thnx

You can do some character design in Sketchup -- especially well suited for Sci-Fi and Robots (hard surfaces)... but for Fantasy and Horror type characters you will probably find a faster and more satisfying result using something like 3D Coat which is a much more organic process, like sculpting with clay... Zbrush is a more expensive alternative as well.
